reducing the risk of cross-contamination. Plus, you are
eliminating the harmful chemicals that would normally
be used for laryngoscope reprocessing. Thinking
beyond use, SunMed supports the care of our
environment through SunCycle, an easy and effective
program to recycle disposable laryngoscope blades
and handles. SunCycle is available to facilities who use
SunMed single patient use laryngoscope systems.

SunCycle is intended for recycling of SunMed single patient
use fiber optic laryngoscope blades and handles. Other medical
waste cannot be accepted. Do not place sharps, hazardous or
radioactive-contaminated waste in this container system.

Your contribution.
When the laryngoscopes leave your facility, they
arrive at a recycling center. There, the products are
sterilized, sorted, disassembled, and processed to
then re-enter the world as new products. Products
manufactured from recycled laryngoscopes are
endless – playground equipment, automotive parts,
fencing, and more.
At the end of each year SunMed provides you with a
report of how you made a difference by recycling
your laryngoscope blades and handles.

Compliant mailback program.
The SunCycle Program contains everything needed
to properly and safely package and dispose of your
SunMed disposable laryngoscope components. When
properly packaged by the waste generator, this mailback system meets all UPS requirements for sending
regulated medical waste through the U.S. mail to our
disposal site. Do NOT place this system in UPS pick up if
it is not properly and securely assembled. Please read
the Use, Shipping, and Packaging Instuctions prior
to using SunCycle in your facility.

Competition is only punctureand leak-resistant. SunCycle
containers feature Hermetic
permanent leak-proof seals that
permanently adheres the lid to the
container –100% better than
the traditional rubber gaskets
on other PG-II containers.
MAXIMUM VOLUME
SunCycle containers hold double the
volume of other medical waste bins –
