COMPETITOR TIMES & TRAINER PASSES:
REGISTRATION LOCATION AND TIMES
FRIDAY MAY 27: 6pm to 8pm - The competitor registration will be located at the Riverhouse Convention Center, just ask the front desk which meeting room. This is
where you will be entered into your correct division based on either height or weight at the beginning of the registration process. You can also purchase your NPC cards
during this time if you have not done so at another show.
SATURDAY MAY 28: 7am to 8am - The late registration will be located at the Riverhouse Convention Center early Saturday morning before the competitor meeting.
This registration is great for people that are trying to make a weight class or cannot make it Friday evening.
COMPETITOR MEETING
SATURDAY MAY 28: 8:30am to 9am - The competitor meeting will be held in the venue at the Riverhouse Convention Center. This meeting is for competitors only.
In the competitor meeting we will cover any show information from the promoters and you will also be introduced to the Head Judge and backstage help for NPC rules
and order of events which can be seen below. The competitor meeting is a great place to ask the promoters and head judge any questions about posing. Also during the
competitor meeting, you will be instructed by the head expediter of when to be back stage and they will tell you that you will get your numbers before you go out to be
judged. This will eliminate the chance of competitors loosing their buttons (numbers) before the show starts.
PRE-JUDGING DOORS & START TIME
SATURDAY MAY 28: 9am & 10am - The doors open up at 9am for all spectators, trainers, etc for prejudging immediately after the competitor meeting. At this time
we ask all competitors to clear the venue for ticket holders choosing their seats. At 10am, the judging will start. So based on the order of events.. all competitors must be
backstage ready to go or else they will not be allowed to compete. The expediters will announce which divisions are in line and call out names and numbers backstage. If
you are not there to be lined up with your class, we will not rejudge a class because an athlete was not present.
EVENING FINAL DOORS & START TIME
SATURDAY MAY 28: 5pm & 6pm - The doors open up at 5pm for all spectators, trainers, etc for evening finals. At 6pm, the evening show will start. Because there
are reserved seats.
TRAINERS PASSES: $50.00
Trainers and family/friends are not allowed to the competitor meeting. Space is limited.
PUMP-UP ROOM RULES: Trainers will be allowed in the pump up area. The cost is $50.00 each day for a trainers pass. This will also admit trainers into the 2 shows
of that day (prejudging & finals) but does not guarantee them a reserved seat. All trainers must be current members of the NPC. You will be required to show your NPC
card or purchase one the day of the show for $125.00. This NPC card is Mandated by the NPC and no one can be in the warm up area without a current NPC card for
insurance reasons. Trainers may not bring in any airbrush tanning equipment or do any airbrush tanning on the Riverhouse Convention Center premises! Trainers may
touch up their competitors tan but they may not apply the full tan on the Riverhouse Convention Center premises. Any trainer full tanning their competitor will be asked to
leave and the competitor disqualified. We are adamant about this as the tanning creams/sprays can destroy the facility and we will not be allowed to use the venue again.
Liquid Sun Rayz is the only tanning, hair and makeup company we allow as they have individual booth set ups at the Riverhouse Convention Center.
THE WRISTBAND DOES NOT PROVIDE EVENT ENTRANCE Entrance/admission is separate. If you are not a competitor, you must have tickets and admission
purchased to enter the event. An exception to purchasing a wristband is the event guest poser & his/her assistant. Our policy is to provide one wristband to each trainer for
every 10 clients. To arrange your wristband before the competition, please email a listing of your intended competitors at least two weeks prior to the event. Please make
certain they are confirmed to compete in the show.
The band(s) will be in the trainer’s name and will need to be picked up Friday evening or Saturday morning. There will be a VIP will-call/trainer wristband table at the ticket
booth. Please give your name to the attendants at will-call or make your wristband purchase at the table.
2016 PUMP ROOM RULES FOR TRAINERS:
1.
2.
3.
4. 5. 6. You must wear your wristband at all times. Any tampering with the band and you will need to purchase another band.
Listen and follow all instructions and please be respectful of event staff.
No trainers are allowed to the stage or in the staging area past the doors leading to the stage. You must work with your client in the pump-up room or hallway. When an expediter
calls competitors into a class lineup to bring to them on stage, you will need to exit the pump-up area into the showroom if you want to watch
your client. You are not allowed to walk through the stage area.
Anyone other than The Cascadian Classic event staff members who would like to be backstage will need to wear a wristband.
The event expediters may remove any unruly individuals upon the expediter’s discretion. Please mind your manners, language, and follow the rules.
If you have sponsored a class or an overall award and are presenting, you will be given access to the stage area. You will receive instructions via email prior to the show.
