W405N POLISHING SLURRY
Description
Amplex offers a wide selection of slurries in lapping and
polishing that can meet even the most demanding
performance criteria. With more than 40 years of product
research, development and field-testing, Amplex has the
knowledge, expertise and experience to scientifically
custom design a slurry to control performance. W405S
slurry is one of our engineered polishing slurries designed
specifically for polishing ceramic components. This is an oil
based slurry when diluted with water it creates a highly
lubricious emulsion slurry to give Angstrom finishes. This
slurry is designed to provide aggressive cutting action
during polishing while minimizing scratches and subsurface
damage in the work piece. All slurries are made using
highly refined and precision-graded diamond powders that
have high bulk purity, high surface purity, and (when
applicable) high impact strength crystals.

produce about the same average roughness, Ra.

W405N is a slurry concentrate. This slurry is to be diluted with D.I. water. We recommend diluting 75% to
90% with D.I. water.
