PWA is a high quality alumina type abrasive powder, consisting of a plate shaped crystal of Al2O3 with a purity of
over 99.0%. It has excellent heat resistant properties as well as being chemically inert, and is not corroded by
either acid or alkaline. As the particle size distribution of PWA is tightly controlled, it can produce a very fine
lapped surface. With a tremendous range of utilizations, PWA is an abrasive powder capable of performance a
myriad of functions.

 PWA Slurry
To meet the demands of the industrial lapping, car wax, and fine optical polishing markets, Fujimi developed
PWA slurry. Since our slurry uses smaller grain size and is made from tightly sized precision alpha alumina,
customers have greater control over the rate of removal. As a result, our product provides a superior finish. We
can customize a wide range of pH ranging from 4.0 to 11.0 to meet your needs. PWA Slurry is a cost effective
solution with great results.

Fujimi’s high purity (>99%) PWA Submicron Powders are designed to meet the requirements of the polishing
abrasive, cosmetics, and protective material markets. These applications require strict particle size distribution
control. As particle sizes reach the Nano scale, it requires sophisticated manufacturing. Fujimi has the expertise
to consistently produce this complex product. We offer a wide range of particle sizes distribution to meet your
needs.
 PWA Flowable Powder & Slurry
Fujimi listened to the industry’s issue with poor flowability and developed PWA Flowable Powders and Slurries.
These unique products are designed for media fillers, thermal spray, friction additive, wear resistance additive,
and fine ceramic monolithic applications. Our product starts with fine grain size alpha alumina powders, which
undergoes a series of complex processing. Fujimi offers two grades with product size between 50 to 500 microns
to meet the market demand.
