Tiwal Taiken Trial Sailing Sessions Begin！
After an amazing experience at this year's Japan International Boat Show, Tiwal Japan will be
launching its Tiwal Taiken program. Tiwal Taikens are trial sailing sessions for the general
public. Private trial sailing sessions and demonstrations are also available for groups and
businesses. "Our first time in the Japan International Boat Show was very positive!" declared Michel
Bonzi, Tiwal Japan representative. "Long time operators in the sailing space spoke to us
about the current crisis in the Japan sailing world. They lamented the fact that more young
people do not take up the sport." “It seems that even the ones who were in yacht clubs or circles, don't always continue after
they graduate. Tiwal, is a great way to bring joy back to sailing especially for kids and
families. " says Alana. The Tiwal Taiken trial sailing program offers kids, families and individuals a chance to try our
sailing dinghy. For experienced sailors, it’s a chance to test the response of the boat on their
own, or with their family and friends. The sessions are on a first come first served basis. The
schedule is published on the Tiwal Japan Facebook Fan page. Private sailing sessions and demonstrations for groups and businesses are by appointment
only. They are primarily for those groups and businesses who are considering a purchasing a
Tiwal.
"With Enoshima being selected as the sailing venue for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the timing
is great to get more people out sailing in Japan." says the Bonzis
