Dear Business and Community Leaders:
This letter comes to you from the coaching staff and players of the Marple Newtown High
School Baseball team. The baseball program at Marple Newtown High School is undergoing a
major renovation of our baseball facilities. Our student athletes work very hard to represent
their school and community well, and we would like our facilities to reflect the pride that we all
have in Marple Newtown baseball. Our planned improvements include, but are not limited to:
• Installing our first scoreboard
• Moving the infield out 15 feet
• Installing a new sod infield
• Building a clay mound and home plate area
• Installing new fencing behind home plate
• Installing a new fence in right field
Implementing these changes will bring the Marple Newtown baseball facilities up to par with
other area high school fields.
The baseball program must raise 100% of the money needed to make these important
and much needed improvements. The players, coaches and parent volunteers have been
working hard raising funds through a variety of avenues, but we need your help. We are
reaching out to community leaders and businesses asking for your support. Please consider
making a fully tax deductible donation to the Friends of Marple Newtown Baseball. No amount
is too small or too large.
