Meetings and Events at
The Master Builder’s
Travelling away on business doesn’t mean you have to
give up your home comforts. Our meeting rooms
accommodate from 10 to 40 delegates. The Hotel also
has a wireless network throughout, and all areas of the
hotel have plenty of natural daylight. Getting to us is
simple too - 20 minutes from Southampton with easy
access to the M27 and M3, yet set within the expansive
beauty of the Beaulieu Estate
We couldn’t be better placed.

area ideal for teambuilding, fresh air or al-fresco dining.
The Dining Room
The Dining room offers impressive views over the Beaulieu River. Perfect for
lunch breaks, enjoying an informal conference or an ideal venue for a private
dinner. The room can house all the equipment you could ever need and boasts
lots of natural daylight
Marquee Hire
Just on the odd occasion that the Master Builder’s cannot provide everything you
desire, you can hire a marquee to sit proudly on our lawned terrace. The perfect
addition to your day. Alternatively during the summer months you can sprawl out

The Menus
We strive to make our event menus slightly different. Our team of talented chefs, headed by Neil Dowson, offers simple and beautifully cooked British and local food at a
reasonable price. We would like to be known for that alone. We believe in our local suppliers and what they can offer. Using these suppliers is at the heart of the hotel's
ethos. Fresh and seasonal British ingredients are sourced by local suppliers all of whom are located within 50 miles of the Hotel. Neil combines all these ingredients to
create an original and sumptuous menu, with dishes to suit every palate.

Local Area
Even if you arrive at The Master Builder's by boat with no further transport, there are numerous
attractions in the New Forest that offer interesting things to do for all tastes, set against a backdrop of the
forest’s outstanding natural beauty and wildlife.
Those wanting to discover some of the heritage in the forest may want to check out some of the many
award winning gardens, museums and historic houses. Then, for the excitement seekers, the adventure
parks are always an adrenaline-fuelled option. Or, if you just want to relax, then why not stroll around one
many castles or manors in the area followed by a relaxing amble along the many miles of beach. You can
explore the New Forest by car, on foot or by bike – you can even hire canoes and kayaks and see what it
looks like from the Beaulieu River.
One of the best places to start if you want to plan your visit is the main tourist information site at
www.thenewforest.co.uk .
The Master Builders is of course part of the extraordinary and beautiful Buckler’s Hard, an 18th century
shipbuilding village, where the master shipbuilder Henry Adams designed, built and launched many fine
naval and merchant vessels, some of which formed part of Nelson’s navy. For more details, why not visit
www.bucklershard.co.uk .
Buckler’s Hard is in turn part of the magnificent Beaulieu Estate, with its legendary National Motor
Museum, the magnificent Beaulieu Palace House and a host of other attractions – see
www.beaulieu.co.uk for more details.
A short drive away, lie the magnificent Exbury Gardens, with their 200 acres of woodland garden – and
you can even take a 20 minute steam railway journey through the gardens on the Rhododendron Line.
See www.exbury.co.uk .
Elsewhere in the New Forest there are country and wildlife parks, activity centres, cruises (and canoeing)
on the Beaulieu River – the list goes on and on. Why not simply visit us and discover it all for yourself!
How to find us
The Master Builder’s is located on the edge of
Beaulieu estate. We’re not that easy to find but
that’s what’s great about us! You could put our
postcode SO42 7XB into your Sat Nav and follow
the instructions. If that doesn’t work, from the
M27 junction2 follow signs to Beaulieu. Turn left
onto the B3056 and then left to Buckler’s Hard –
the hotel is 2 miles along on the left.
