Fire Up Your Feet encourages
families, students and schools to work
together and create active lifestyles
which inspire our children to be
healthy and physically active.
Active Kids Do Better
Success
When I first arrived at the class in the morning, students were running
around the classroom, yelling, throwing things etc. I had the students do
exercise for 10 minutes to help refocus them and get out some of their
energy. The kids really loved it and after we did the exercise they were
able to sit down and refocus.
-Teacher at Reach Academy, in Oakland, CA
A parent has now started walking everyday since her daughter was "fired"
up about being active. The parent told me how well she was feeling and
how well she was sleeping since she started to exercise. It was very
rewarding to hear that Fire Up Your Feet was having an impact.

Walk with the dreamers, the believers, the courageous, the cheerful, the
planners, the doers, the successful people with their heads in the clouds and
their feet on the ground. Let their spirit ignite a fire within you to leave this
world better than when you found it…” ― Wilfred Peterson
