Choquequirao in Quechua means “Golden Cradle”, although this is probably not its original name,
this mysterious and dazzling place is another “Lost city of the Incas” located high on a ridge spur,
almost 1750m above the raging glacier-fed Apurimac River and surrounded by towering snowcapped peaks of the Vilcabamba mountain range. Enjoy a great experience and a new discovery,
appreciate the magnificence of Choquequirao with its palaces, temples, two-tier fountain systems,
canals, aqueducts, and its lovely terraces “upholstered” with profuse vegetation.

Moray is an archaeological site
in Peru approximately 50 km (31
mi) northwest of Cuzco on a high
plateau at about 3500 m (11,500
ft) and just west of the village of
Maras. The site contains unusual
Inca ruins, mostly consisting
of several enormous terraced
circular depressions, the largest of
which is about 30 m (98 ft) deep.
Moray was perhaps an Inca
agricultural experiment station.

Horse Riding through Moray | Half Day
The Inkas discover a perfect place to build the this big complex and they adapt this natural
formation of this land, to build there the most important acclimatization complex formed by many
circular and quite circular terraces. A safe Andean path that is still in use after many years will
help us to climb unto the top of the mountain, across many different lands where the people grow
principally white corn (the biggest of the world), barley lands and potatoes lands.
The View is really fantastic, because since this path is possible to see many snow mountains, great
part of the Sacred Valley, the “Vilcanota” river, the actual flora and fauna.Along this riding, will be
possible to see many eagles that begin to fly especially with the firs fresh winds.
