The committee puts on Earth Day events on April 22nd of each year. The Green Committee recruits new members annually. Your sociocultural committee has prepared a few activities in order to liven up the start of the new academic year WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, visit the Cité de l’Or, $18, payable on site, visit will be 2 hours long 10:00 AM - travel to site, from teepee at 9:30 AM or 1:30 PM - travel to site, from teepee at 1:00 PM The shows are announced on the wall right beside the teepee! Please reserve a spot by writing your name on the registration sheet posted on Louise Bryce's office door (Room 4103A, in the First Nations Lounge) Committees at Lunch: the various committees on the Val-d’Or campus will set up information booths and, who knows, you may find one with which you'd like to be involved! Watch for promotional notices, so as not to miss this opportunity! Try on a UQAT jacket - Val-d’Or campus: each year, students have an opportunity to buy a UQAT jacket. Jacket try-on sessions happen towards the middle of September. When you order a jacket, you will be asked to pay the total amount of the purchase cost. Your jacket will be delivered to you five to six weeks after you order it. AUGUST 23, 2010 FIRST NATIONS SPEAKER'S LUNCHEONS It's back to classes, and that means the First Nations Speakers' Luncheons are back too. EUROSTAGE 2009-10 BUSINESS HOURS FOR T THE HE CAFÉ CAFÉ--BISTRO COFFEE SHOP For the Eurostage project coordinated by UQAT, eight of us (students in 2nd-year preschool education and primary teaching) left Canada last May to do a practicum in France, in the city of Troyes. This trip allowed us to make delightful discoveries on cultural and professional levels, and our presence in French schools enabled us to meet delightful people. The experience was a very enriching one: we came back to Quebec with our heads full of new ideas and good memories.
