MEN’S ASPEN CONFERENCE 2016
“Freedom Through Our Identity in Christ”

Cornerstone Church in Glenview, IL is hosting the
10th annual Aspen Men’s Conference, October 6-9,
2016, at the Annabelle Inn in Aspen Colorado.
At our core, as men, we are wild. We test ways to
set ourselves free and try different ways to find our
true and individual identity. God, who designed us
in this way, uses circumstances in our everyday
lives to bring us closer to Him. He uses our
understanding of one's self to help us establish our
true identity. During this retreat, we will learn
about our true calling and how we can be set free.
We are privileged to have R.A. Atanus as our
conference speaker. R.A. has an amazing story that
you won’t want to miss. While in his early teens,
he and his family left Iran due to religious
persecution. Shortly after arriving in the US, R.A.
accepted Christ after searching what it meant to be
a true man. R.A. has an Electronic Engineering
Degree from Devry Institute of Technology, an
MBA from Northwestern University
Kellogg Business School and a Master of Arts in
Ministry from Trinity International University. As
a senior executive at NEC and Samsung, he has
lived in Japan and traveled extensively throughout
the Far East and Europe. R.A. is currently the
Executive Pastor at South Park Church and has a
heart for men. Ministering to them, he helped grow
the men's ministry program which now numbers
over 100 men each week.
The Aspen Men’s Conference is a wonderful
opportunity to fellowship with men from other
parts of the country, as we learn how to incorporate
a Christian mindset into our everyday lives. There
will be plenty of free time as we will be hiking in
the mountains and enjoying the comradery of our
fellow brothers in Christ. Along with Biblical
teaching and sharing with other men, Abel’s
Offering from Chicago, will be leading a spirited
time of worship, right in the beauty of God’s
creation, making this a weekend you won’t want to
miss.
ACTIVITIES
SCHEDULE
The conference has been designed to allow for free
time to further your walk with the Lord. There will
be scheduled (optional) hikes with a short Bible
study and prayer time to reflect and meditate on the
conference teachings. This is a great time for
fellowship and viewing God’s amazing landscape.
