“GET ON YOUR MARK”… “GET SET”… “GO”! On
Saturday morning, March 9th, 2013, there were 430
participants who enjoyed pounding the pavement as they ran, walked, or
strolled down Urbana Road for The Crumley House Second Annual 5K
Run…”Joggin for the Noggin”...a brain injury awareness fundraiser! Board Chairman, Odie
Major, announced the start of the race. Kylie McGivern, WJHL TV, was the Mistress of
Ceremonies. Representative Micah Van Huss and Kylie McGivern announced the 5K winners.
With scenic snow-capped mountains in the distance, the weather was perfect for this fun run
as overall winner in the male category, Tanner Cook, completed the race in a record time of
16.21. Audra Yarber, the overall winner in the female category, finished in 20.46 minutes.
Unique abstract art plaques created by members of The Crumley House were awarded to the
winners in each division. A delicious complimentary post-race pancake breakfast was served to
everyone, and relaxing massages were provided compliments of Fabozzi Chiropractic and
Massage. Did you catch a glimpse of those “Joggin for the Noggin” tees and those special gift bags
all participants received? What about the pictures taken during the run? Visit

donated, volunteered, participated, and cheered for the runners and walkers! Hope to see you
