Welcome to the Farley Hill School
Intergalactic Summer Fete 2016
Farley Hill is a primary school for boys and girls aged 4 to 11 years,
situated in a rural setting in the parish of Swallowfield.
The Summer Fete is one of our main events of the year, providing a
fun day out for families, friends and neighbours of the school. It is one
of the PTA’s many fundraising initiatives, helping to raise funds for a
range of projects such as new IT and recreational equipment, books,
educational events, and much more.
This year we have an ‘Intergalactic’ theme in honour of Major Tim
Peake and in conjunction with the topic work that all our children have
been doing over the last few months.
In the leafy surroundings of King George V Playing Fields, families
will be able to browse our stalls, enjoy lots of fun activities, sample the
organic BBQ or just sit back and relax whilst watching the entertainment.
We are extremely grateful for the support we receive from parents,
family, friends, local businesses and neighbours, making our event
such a lovely family day out.
We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday, 18 June to celebrate
summer and have lots of fun.

Intergalactic Cryptic Clue Hunt
Pipes clogged? Drains blocked?
Sounds like a job for Dyno.
Our Intergalactic Cryptic Clue Hunt is open to all children attending the fete.
Here at Dyno, we understand the importance of keeping your home or business
running smoothly. Bad smells, blocked toilets or sinks can be a real inconvenience.
The hunt will take them all over the playing field to find the clues and
solve the mystery word puzzle. The two lucky winners will be chosen
randomly from all the completed forms submitted by 14:30.
