After traveling around Asia for half a year, Amberlea
decided not to return to her career as a graphic designer,
and instead pursue her passion of creating. Amberlea
creates fun and whimsical toys for children: hand puppets
featuring her own illustrations printed on fabric, and
Wee Fabric Houses (8 inches tall) that open to reveal tiny
interiors that will inspire hours of imaginative play.

Andrew’s art has been exhibited internationally in museums,
galleries and exhibits including the Ontario Provincial
Government’s permanent collection. His subjects include
wildlife, landscapes or people and are created using oils or
graphite. Andrew’s studio and home are nestled in one of
the beautiful valleys of the Bethany Hills area.

Sandy Cline is a self-taught sculptor who has been
developing his skills for over 40 years. Each piece I make
is a statement, “I’m leaving little bits of me and how I feel”
he says. “You have to work with the stone and not try to
make it something it doesn’t want to be, if you persist, it
will break. You become part of the sculpture, and you
can feel that it’s right.”

Tim, a self-taught photographer, began taking photos in
the 1970’s. “My passion is to focus on capturing subtle
details, to express a mood, convey a message and lead the
viewer to look closer, to really see this world in a new way.
There is such quiet beauty close to us all. We should take
time to stop and really look at what surrounds us.”

Painting wildlife has always been a dream of mine. Finding
the time I needed to devote to it has only come about in
the last few years. Then I discovered painting on feathers
and found it fascinating. I decided that this was what I
really wanted to do. Tucked away in my little studio I can
get ‘lost’ for hours painting with my cat pal Jimmy, who
happily snoozes beside me all day.

Horses are Laura’s passion. Visit her “Studio in the Barn”
to see her award-winning sculptures in wood, detailed
