(Luna), xictli (navel) and Co (place).
Mexico is located in the center of the continent of America having as neighbors in North America and
southeast with Belize. Is considered one of the 12 mega-diverse countries: it is home to 10-12% of
global biodiversity is home to over 12,000 endemic species, and has a great diversity of climates

Panuco, Veracruz.
Welcome a land is Huasteca, Second City of the American Continental: Panuco.
The city of Panuco is the head of the homonymous municipality, which was founded on December
26, 1522 by Hernán Cortés himself and his troops, who clashed aguerridamente with the natives of
the area: the Huastecos.
In this way and over the centuries, Panuco has forged a vast cultural background, where the revelry,
the fifth guitar and violin are established as the emblem of this land: the Huapango.
Taking up the greatness of Panuco is necessary to demarcate its vast territory of 3,277 square
kilometers, which place it as the largest land area municipality in Veracruz State.
This greatness is also seen in its people, noble people and forging working day the history of this
town. A fraught history of important events that have transcended borders, such as Oil Boom in the
country started here in 1901 by treasure hunter Edward Doheny.
Currently Panuco is a town that lives moments of constant transformation, because although their
productive vocation is agriculture and livestock, is also fertile ground for industry and the service
sector.
