Enrollment will be online again this year with Ren Web. We hope this process will simplify the enrollment process each year. If you need any assistance completing your forms or logging onto your account, please contact the office. Whitney is a notary and can notarize the medical treatment form. Please complete all online forms by May 1st. Spring Conference Days: April 21 & 22 Conference days for 2’s - Kindergarten will be held on April 21st and 22nd. We value this time to share with you your child’s growth and development in all areas as well as receive needed input from parents. You will be receiving your Parent Preparation Form to complete and return to your teacher. Please return these forms as this enables teachers to focus on your comments and questions. This will be our final time to share with you all of the wonderful experiences your child has had, put closure on the school year and begin plans for next year. Please be punctual in arriving and please do not park under the carpool porte-cochere. Childcare will be provided from 8:30-12:30 for Westminster children age 12 months and older. Toddler classes still meet. Summer Camp at Westminster Summer camp brochures for our 14th year of camp at WPPK have been electronically sent home to review. If you have any questions regarding age appropriateness, please contact the office. Each session requires a registration form for each child. School and church families have priority to register until April 4th, when the program will open to the community and wait list families. Come join our summer fun! Camp balances are due May 1st. Parenting Principles Family Time These thoughts were shared with the staff at one of the Staff Development meetings from Kathleen Fischer. If you have not had the opportunity to attend one of her numerous enlightening, informative and helpful talks, I strongly encourage you to attend one or several! Her website is www.kathleenfischer.com. AS A FAMILY: • Pick one thing this week and cancel it. Allow your pace to slow down and make space and time for family interests. • Talk to your children weekly abut a human value; ask them what it is, how to practice it, how to improve on it. • Do chores together, talk, laugh, slow down and enjoy the time together vs. dreading the task. • Simplifying our lives (and slowing down the hectic pace) means saying no at times. • Our homes reflect who we are and what we value. • Leave room for the unexpected.
