Happy Times 6-Page Scrapbooking Kit
1. Begin by attaching the Wood BTP to the outside edge of both base pages. These are your anchor pieces.
2. Next attach the two 1.5 x 6" strips of Ombre BTP to the top of the page, flush with the inside edge.
3. Attach the Gold Floral BTP pieces directly below this, as shown.
4. Attach the last two 1.5 x 6" strips of Ombre BTP, directly below this. It is okay if it overlaps a little, depending on how
accurate your cutting was. Be sure the gradient goes from light on top to dark on bottom.
5. Beginning with page 1, attach the 4x6" Pomegranate photo mat approx. 3/4" from the top of the Gold Floral BTP and
flush with the inside edge of the base page. Now attach all other 4x6 Photo Mats next to this one as shown, on both pages.
6. Attach the 3/4 x 12" strips of Floral BTP directly below the photo mats on both pages. Attach a 12" strip of Gold
Shimmer Trim directly below them.
7. Trim 1/8" off all 4 sides of the vertical "Happiness Is" PML card. Attach 3 pieces of Gold Shimmer Trim that are 3
3/4" long to the card, as shown. Now attach it to the first Photo mat. Carefully trim the arrow out of the single "Arrow"
PML card, leaving a small white border and attach to this PML card using Thin 3D Foam tape.
8. Trim 1/8" off all 4 sides of the horizontal "today" PML. Attach a 3.75" piece of Gold Shimmer trim near the bottom of
the card and attach it to a 3x4 Pomegranate photo mat, as shown.
9. Attach the three, 3x4" Pomegranate photo mats to the layout as shown, as well as the banner cluster in the upper left
corner of Page 1. Angle cut the two 3/4" pieces of shimmer trim and attach to the top of the 3x4 mat on the right page, as
shown.
10. Finish the layouts by adding the stamped and cut out embellished flowers and gold sequins, including the 2 Canary
flowers with Glacier stems to the "today" PML card on page 2.
1. Beginning with Page 1, attach the 4.5" wide piece of Ombre BTP (light orange color at the top), flush with the inside
edge, and down 3/4" from the top of the page. Do the same thing on page 2 with the 6.5" Ombre piece of BTP.
2. Next attach both 10.5" strips of Gold Shimmer Trim to the outside edge of the Ombre BTP.
3. Attach the 1.75 x 10.5" strips of Floral BTP next to the Gold Shimmer Trim.
4. On page 1, attach the two 3x4" Pomegranate photo mats 1/8" from the inside edge, and 1.25" down from the top of the
Ombre BTP, spaced 1/4" apart. These are your anchor pieces and all photo mats will follow these and all photo mats will
line up with these, on both base pages.
5. Cut 2 pieces of the White & Gold Ribbon to 4.75" in length; Cut 2 more that are 6.75" in length and tie 4 ribbon knots.
6. Attach the 4.75" ribbon to the bottom of 2 vertical 4x6" Photo Mats, as shown. To do this, put a glue dot on the end of
each piece of ribbon and attach it to the backside of the photo mat. Do the same for the other 4x6 Photo Mats, but in the
Horizontal orientation. Attach ribbon knots to the edge of each with a glue dot.
7. Trim 1/8" off all 4 sides of the 4x6 Gold Polka Dot PML and the vertical "picture perfect" PML card and attach them
to the last Pomegranate photo mats.
8. On the Gold Polka Dot PML card, attach a 2.5" piece of Gold Shimmer trim near the bottom of the PML card as
shown. On the "picture perfect" PML card, attach a 3" piece of Gold Shimmer trim, as shown.
9. Stamp the phrase "real moments" in Pomegranate ink onto the 1/2 x 2.5" piece of White Daisy CS and cut a banner end
into both ends. Attach it with Thin 3D Foam Tape above, and overlapping the Gold Shimmer Trim and the edge of the
photo mat, as shown.
10. Create the banner cluster in the upper left corner of page 1 and accent it with a 3" piece of the Words Zip Strip that
says "Happy" or any of the other phrases you like better. Finish it with 2 gold sequins.
11. Last step is to accent with the pre-assembled flowers and red enamel gems.
1. Begin by attaching the 7.5" wide piece of Wood BTP flush with the outside edge of page 1. Do the same for page 2.
Next attach the Floral BTP's next to the wood grain BTP, to cover the entire base page.
2. Attach a 12" piece of Gold Shimmer Trim flush with the Floral BTP's, on top of the edge of Wood BTP.
3. On page 1, attach the top, horizontal 4x6 Pomegranate photo mat approx. 1 3/8" from the top of the page, and 1/4" in
from the inside edge. Add the next photo mat below it, leaving a 1/4" gap.
4. Trim 1/8" off all 4 sides of the "love this life" Vertical PML card. Stamp small flowers in Canary ink with Glacier
stems, as well as the berry stamp in Pomegranate ink with the stems stamped in Fern, in the upper and lower corner of the
PML card as shown in the photo.
5. Attach this stamped PML card to a 4x6" piece of Pomegranate CS. Attach a 4.75" piece of White & Gold Ribbon to
the bottom of the card using Glue Dots on the backside of the Pomegranate CS. Tie a small knot and add it to the ribbon,
as shown. Attach one of your pre-assembled flowers to the upper corner.
6. Attach this entire photo mat to Page 1, approx. 1" from the top, leaving a 1/4" gap from the other photo mats.
7. Next on page 1, add the 4 white journaling strips, accented with a 3/4" piece of Gold Shimmer Trim with a banner end
cut in 1 end. Add a Red Enamel Gem to each journaling strip.
8. On page 2, attach the top 4x6" Pomegranate photo mat approx. 2.25" from the top of the base page, and 1/4" in from the
inside edge. Attach the next photo mat below it, also leaving a 1/4" gap on both sides.
9. Attach a 4.75" piece of White & Gold Ribbon to the bottom of the photo mat using Glue Dots on the backside of the
Pomegranate CS. Tie a small knot and add it to the ribbon, along with the flowers, as shown.
10. Attach the last 4x6 photo mat approx. 5.25" from the top of the page, leaving a 1/4" gap from the other photo mat.
11. Stamp the sentiment "i don't want to forget" in Pomegranate ink on the 1/2 x 3" piece of White Daisy and layer it onto
the Pomegranate strip. Use Thin 3D Foam Tape to attach it to the layout, as shown.
12. Finish by adding gold sequins.
1. Stamp all images as shown and cut out, leaving a thin white border.
2. Accent the 2nd Generation Smoothie flowers by adding small stripes using the Waterbrush brush, Swipe the
brush on the Smoothie ink pad and then onto the flower. See picture below for the result.
3. Curl the edges of all the flowers. To do this, I just used my fingernails and pulled out from the center of each
petal.
4. Attach the top flower to the 2nd Generation Pomegranate inked base flower using a Glue Dot.
5. Add leaves behind each large flower.
6. Accent all with 1 medium gold sequin and 1 Red Enamel Gem to the center.

Before cutting, pull out both base pages for each 2 page layout and stack into their own pile.
As you begin cutting each color of CS and BTP, lay it in the corresponding layout pile so
when you are done cutting, you can quickly assemble according to the Color Photo
Instruction Guide.
This kit requires White Daisy and Pomegranate Cardstock in addition to the Happy Times
paper packet.

1. Stamp the base flower in 2nd Generation Pomegranate - 6x
2. Stamp the overlay flower in 2nd Generation Smoothie - 6x

You do not always have to cut the white CS pieces layered onto the photo mats as they
represent your photos.
When attaching the White & Gold ribbon... use a glue dot to secure the ends to the
back so that you can easily slide a photo under the ribbon when scrapbooking.
