A 720-acre property in San Diego that redefines what it means to be a 'ranch' has been listed for sale for $17.5 million.
The property is located in Santa Ysabel, about 30 miles east of San Diego, and is currently owned by David Batchelder, the co-founder of California
activist investment firm Relational Investors.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Batchelder purchased the land in 2000 for $5 million, and set about building what he calls 'a family fun
compound.'
He wanted a place that would be fun for children and make adults put their phones down.
As a result he installed a go-kart racing track, a skeet-shooting range, paint ball course and two fishing ponds.
There is also a 650,000-gallon swimming pool, complete with a sandy beach.
