RUNFLAT TYRES.
How can you keep driving after a puncture
without changing the wheel? Easy. With runflat
technology. The sidewalls of the tyres are
specially reinforced and made of an extremely
heat-resistant rubber compound. Together with
humps on the rim, this prevents the tyre from
detaching after a complete loss of pressure, even when cornering. As a
result, there is no need to change the wheel. Depending on the load you
are carrying, you can keep going at speeds of up to  km/h for between
 and  kilometres.

The eye-catching side scuttles perfectly complement the inimitable styling
of your MINI. They are available in a choice of stylish designs and vibrant
colours.
4+5 Valve caps

Deeply stylish: the Hot Chocolate colour makes a striking contrast in the
interior. The optional multifunction buttons allow features such as cruise
control and the radio to be operated. Not available for vehicles with optional
shift paddles.

The MINI Travel and Comfort System is a great addition for longer journeys.
The modular system is structured around a base attachment that is easily
affixed between the bars of the head rest. This can then be used with the
clothes hanger, universal hook, or the holder for Apple iPad (see page ). As
well as ensuring your garments don’t crumple on the way to your destination,
the clothes hanger can also be used outside of the vehicle with a retractable
hook (Fig. ). The universal hook is ideal for hanging light shopping bags
or a suit bag. The MINI Travel and Comfort System comes in Matt Black with
Brilliant Black highlights, and is scheduled for release in April .

All aboard! There’s always something special about climbing into a MINI. The
unique designs of Genuine MINI child seats are a great way of ensuring your
little ones enjoy the experience too. Patented airpad technology, paired with
a single-hand belt adjustment system, deliver safety and practicality in equal
measure, while ISOFIX connections mean the seats could not be easier to
install. And with a choice of Union Jack and Vivid Green designs, their looks
are as impressive as their performance.
 MINI baby seat group + with ISOFIX
The MINI baby seat + is ideal for babies between  and around  months
(approx.  kg). The child restraint system is made up of a portable infant
carrier, a removable sun screen, and the ISOFIX base with height-adjustable
support leg. Alternatively, the seat can be used without the ISOFIX base, and
secured via the vehicle seatbelt.
 MINI junior seat group  with ISOFIX
The safest position for children here is facing backwards, though they can
also sit forwards if desired. For children from around  months to . years
(approx.  to  kg). The MINI junior seat  features a five-point belt system
and the ISOFIX base, which can also be used with the MINI baby seat +.

 Sun screens for rear windscreen and side windows
Particularly useful for children, these simple screens provide comfort from
the sun. Flexible sprung steel frames ensure they fit snugly into the rear
windscreen and rear side windows. When not in use, they can be folded up
and carried in the compact storage bag supplied.

 MINI junior seat group /
Designed for children between the ages of  and , the MINI junior seat /
keeps children comfortable and secure around every bend. It fits snugly into
the angle of the seat back, and can be used by youngsters of up to  cm.
As well as single-hand height adjustment, the seat also offers practical singlehand width adjustment. In addition, the back can be folded down for easy
transportation. The seat is secured in place via the vehicle seatbelt, and can
also be connected using the car’s ISOFIX points.

Designed specially for MINI, this portable navigation device features TMC
Premium functions as standard, and will show you the best way to beat the
traffic. When used in conjunction with the Smartphone Link app via Bluetooth,
drivers receive real-time updates on the traffic situation of alternate routes.
The innovative holder means the device can be moved around the rev
counter, blending smoothly into the overall cockpit design at all times. The
latest maps come pre-installed, and as an option, can be updated via SD card.

 ALPINE hi-fi system
Significantly enhances audio performance. Includes a high-performance
class-D amplifier, with bass, mid-range and tweeter speakers featuring an
aluminium membrane for a clear, detailed sound. Easy to fit, with no
change to the standard loudspeaker locations.
3 MINI holder for Apple iPad mini
In addition to the Apple iPad mini, all second, third and fourth-generation
iPad models can be locked into the base attachment of the Travel and
Comfort System quickly and easily. They can then be removed again at the
touch of a button. Various positions make reading text, watching videos,
and chatting online easy for rear-seat passengers. A support on the back of
the holder means it can also be used outside of the vehicle.

Let’s talk MINI! Mission Control provides in-cockpit entertainment. It greets
drivers, reacts to what they do (or don’t do), tells them when their seatbelt
isn’t fastened, keeps them informed about the interior, exterior and engine
temperature and even gives prompts on how to drive more fuel-efficiently.
This new infotainment system comprises a control unit, connector cable and
an SD card with an extensive English vocabulary stored on it.

 Music adapter for Apple iPod/iPhone
Using the adapter cable, you can connect your portable MP player or iPod/
iPhone to the MINI Radio. Depending on the model, a Media Adapter for

 Snap-in adapter
For the playback of music files stored on a mobile phone through the
vehicle’s audio system. It also charges the handset battery and ensures
optimum reception. Available (with or without USB interface) for most
current mobile phones from Apple, Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and
Samsung, and for BlackBerry® devices.

 Tablet DVD system and infrared stereo headphones
The ultimate back-seat entertainment system offers two screens, a builtin DVD player, a USB interface and two vehicle brackets. It can be used to

exciting possibilities of the various carrier systems on offer.
 Aluminium rear-mounted rack
The rear-mounted rack can hold two bicycles. Where the rear-mounted
rack preparation (sold separately) is fitted to the MINI Convertible, it can
be attached in seconds to the tow eyelets. For vehicles that were not
supplied ex works with the rear-mounted rack preparation, this can also
be retrofitted.

2–4 Roof rack base support system, lockable
The support arms are made of high-strength, corrosion-resistant aluminium
tubing, and with their anti-theft attachment mechanism, they meet the
highest security standards. Usable width approximately  mm. Maximum
roof load  kg.
 Touring cycle holder, lockable
A sturdy attachment for transporting a bicycle with a frame diameter of
between  and  mm. A simple fastening system makes it quick and easy
to put the bike into the holder. The wheel is secured via a screw mechanism.
Also suitable for mountain bikes.
 Roof box
If you’re running out of space in the back, head straight to the top. The
roof box is supplied either with Black bottom casing and top casing in
Silver Metallic, or entirely in Black. Incredibly practical, it can be opened
from both sides. Decorative stripes in Black or White are also available.
