Daydream Island Resort and Spa, one of the premier
resorts in the Whitsunday Islands
Come and enjoy the many attractions and activities of this fantastic island.
Daydream Village at the southern end of the island has been especially
developed with day visitors in mind, but day guests are free to explore the
whole resort. Set around the southern swimming pool is a bakery, fashion
and souvenir boutique, tennis courts, mini golf course and a children’s
playground. At the main resort end near the jetty is the fantastic ‘Living
Reef’ Coral Lagoon filled with colourful coral and fish life. Don’t miss the
fantastic Marine Biologist presentation at shark and stingray feeding time!
There’s lots of room to laze away the day poolside, on the lawns or adjacent
beach. Take a swim, stroll along Sunset Beach or see wallabies and endless
bird-life on the rainforest walk. The ‘Around Australia’ mini-golf course has to
be the best in the world – not just for the kids!

Cruise through the Whitsunday Islands National Park stepping ashore

First stop is at Daydream Island Resort and Spa, a wonderful stop for
couples and families alike. Here you can enjoy one of the most unique
attractions in Queensland, the ‘Living Reef’ Coral Lagoon - a miniature
Great Barrier Reef. Wander around the resort or take a dip in the pool
before watching the sharks and stingrays!
Then enjoy a quick cruise to Hamilton Island for a delicious lunch at the
Marina Tavern. After lunch, feel free to explore the island using the Free
Shuttle Bus service. Perhaps a visit to WILD LIFE Hamilton Island to see
some of Australia’s most loved, feared and unique animals, stroll around
the shops, visit the galleries or try the bowling alley!
Our staff at the Marina Office on Hamilton Island will provide you with
information and assist with any optional attractions such as adrenalin
pumping jet boat rides or a visit to WILD LIFE Hamilton Island. On the
cruise home sit back, breathe in the sea air, sip a wine or beer on the top
deck and take in the beautiful scenery.

Our high speed vessels cruise around the Whitsundays all day transferring
guests and day trippers. If you would like to do your own thing then arm
yourself with an Island Hopper Pass, a timetable and a map then set out
exploring the island resorts on your very own itinerary.
To maximise your time in the islands you will need to carefully plan and
take a look through our brochure and timetable for all information. If you
would like a more detailed information guide for any particular island our
crew have these onboard plus they’ll be able to advise you on the best
things to see and do.

Whitsunday Islands National Park seeing the more remote bays, islands and

The day starts with a short cruise to Daydream Island Resort and Spa‚ a
wonderful stop for couples and families alike. Here you can enjoy the very
unique and interesting ‘Living Reef’ Coral Lagoon - a miniature Great Barrier
Reef. Wander around the resort or take a dip in the pool.
From Daydream Island it’s another 30 minutes cruise through the islands to
Hamilton Island. Soak up the atmosphere with a wander along Hamilton
Island’s famous Front Street with its boutiques, galleries and cafes
overlooking the luxury vessels at home in the Marina.
From Hamilton Island we cruise through the picturesque Solway Passage
to Whitehaven Beach - a “must-see” in the Whitsundays. The crystal clear
aqua waters and pristine white silica sand stretch for over seven kilometres.
It is Mother Nature at her best - regularly named amongst the top beaches
in the world and current holder of ‘Australia’s Best Beach’. Join in some
beach cricket, wander along the beach to your own secluded stretch, laze
on the beach or cool off in the azure waters.
Throughout this wonderful day of Island hopping, your friendly Cruise
Whitsundays guide will provide informative commentary on the history and
natural wonders of the area as you cruise from Island to Island.

7. Children’s fare – 4 to 14 years inclusive. Infants under 4 years no
charge however infant meals are not included and should be paid
direct to the resort. Please advise at time of booking when an
infant is travelling.
