The Dominguez family welcomes you to Tupinamba Mexican Restaurant where the finest
in authentic Mexican dishes have been served for over 50 years.
Papa Froylan Dominguez fled Mexico in 1910 during the height of the Mexican Revolution. He
brought with him wife, Consuelo, family recipes that he and his wife Consuelo began serving to
Dallas in 1947 at the first Tupinamba restaurant in Oak Cliff. It is believed that the Dominguez
family introduced the nacho & sour cream enchilada to Dallas.
The secret family recipes for such dishes as meat tacos & chili have been passed on to son,
Eddie, and grandson, Jeff, who continue to serve quality Mexican food that Dallas has come
to expect from Tupinamba.

The Dominguez family welcomes you to Tupinamba Mexican Restaurant where the finest
in authentic Mexican dishes have been served for over 50 years.
Papa Froylan Dominguez fled Mexico in 1910 during the height of the Mexican Revolution. He
brought with him wife, Consuelo, family recipes that he and his wife Consuelo began serving to
Dallas in 1947 at the first Tupinamba restaurant in Oak Cliff. It is believed that the Dominguez
family introduced the nacho & sour cream enchilada to Dallas.
The secret family recipes for such dishes as meat tacos & chili have been passed on to son,
Eddie, and grandson, Jeff, who continue to serve quality Mexican food that Dallas has come
to expect from Tupinamba.
