CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY HOURS—There will be plenty of activities for children such as face painting, balloons, and Children’s Games in the Outdoor Plaza. Friday—5:00 to 8:00 pm Saturday—11:00 am to 8:00 pm Sunday—Noon to 6:00 pm HISTORIC CHURCH TOURS—Conducted on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A brief, guided exploration of our Greek Orthodox Church is descriptive and informative. The church will be open throughout the festival. Friday—6:30 and 8:00 pm Saturday—1:00, 3:00, 5:00, 7:00, and 9:00 pm Sunday—2:00, 3:30, and 5:00 pm DANCE PERFORMANCES—Featuring St. John’s Dance Groups—Asteria, Kefi, and Pitsirikia. They will be entertaining you regularly throughout the weekend. Each year, the Omaha Greek Festival highlights the Greek love of song and dance. Dancing is a vital element in the Greek way of life. The Greeks would use dance to prepare for war; celebrate victories, weddings, and religious occasions; and at festivals.
