Souheil… August Events Dear Community Members - Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah. Look inside... I am thankful to Allah (SWT) to have had such a wonderful year at AYA with countless successes and accomplishments. The end of April and beginning of May saw the first complete online testing experience at AYA. Alhamdulillah, with the addition of a second computer lab in the library, we were able to test as many as 53 students at one time. We are planning to have additional hardware added next fall and test as many as 85 students at once, insha’Allah. Spotlights Student of Month GRADUATION Islamic Day and Fun Page Arabic Page Tuesday, Aug 20 - School Starts I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our K5, 5 th, 8th, and 12th graders for fulfilling the requirements to graduate to the next educational level. We are so proud of you and look forward to sharing many more joyous occasions with you. Raslan Shada and Sr. Khawla Awwad on the birth of their new baby boy, Mahmoud. Br. Raslan is a secondary Math teacher at AYA, and their children, Lana and Adam, are students at AYA. They have also been working on their hydroponic garden! 6 By Al-Dana Fetais, 8B Parent Appreciation Breakfast On May 14th our awesome teachers decided to make a beautiful breakfast for all our parent volunteers. Alhamdulillah, The Student Council was busy for Teacher Appreciation Week. The students left beautiful presents for the teachers and staff, mA. The teachers were also treated to a luncheon at Greenland by the AYA IPTA! it was a successful breakfast. Everyone had fun and enjoyed the food!
