Ferno 3 Stage IV Pole
The 3 stage IV pole allows you to quickly place an IV bag
anywhere around the patient. A unique clamp system allows
placement of the pole anywhere around the iN/X or Mondial
Monobloc and patient, allowing for more than one IV pole to be
used. Designed to carry IV solution bags and infusion pumps to a
total of 23kg. Extends from 540mm to 1040mm. Suitable for the
iN/X and Mondial Monobloc.
Ferno Adult Harness
A multifunctional design allows users to fit or remove the harness
from the patient while on the stretcher. Can be used under or
over existing linen for easier fitting and transfer of patients. The
adult harness is part of a complete suite of approved and certified
compliant harness systems that provides restraint for newborns to
obese adults. Dynamically crash tested and certified to ambulance
crash test standards AS/NZS 4535:1999. Suitable for the iN/X and
Mondial Monobloc.
Ferno Siderail / Bariatric Wing
An optional easy to attach or detach large body surface system that
doubles as a side rail. When deployed it acts as a traditional patient
side rail. Two lockable swing out positions cater for varying width
patients including bariatric or patients within a vacuum mattress.
An additional inward locking position assists with transport of infant
patients and can assist with immobilisation of some patients. The
rising incline design eliminates the need to carry any additional
mattress and the wings do not interfere with loading or operation of
the stretcher. Suitable for the iN/X and Mondial Monobloc.

Made from die-cast stainless steel the Ferno Floor Lock provides unrivalled strength, yet is simple in design and use.
The stretcher floor lock hooks are designed to fully capture the front and rear attachment
points of the stretcher with one simple pull of the floor lock lever.

The Ferno 2030 IV Pole is a lightweight permanently attached IV pole that
conveniently fits within the side rail of most Ferno stretchers.
For after-market installation, each Ferno 2030 IV Pole comes complete
with a new side rail for quick and easy fitting. Includes bracket mount for
IV accessories and hooks for two IV bags. The IV pole is for mounting on
the (patient) left hand side of stretcher only.
Ferno Bolstered Mattress
Code MCM-2650 (26 Series mattress) and MCM-50 (50 Series mattress)
Ferno has designed a bolstered mattress to suit the harsh environment
and road conditions experienced in Australia. Our mattress combines
four layers of foam with varying densities and shapes to provide
the ultimate comfort for patients. Slow recovery foam with
bolstered sides creates a centring action that stabilises
patients, providing support in transit. Each mattress is
covered in soft, flexible, medical grade vinyl on the patient
area with durable, hard wearing, medical grade vinyl on the
underside to prevent mattress damage. Each mattress is heat
sealed to prevent ingress of fluids.
Ferno Baby Capsule/Convertible Chair Harness

Universal Patient Restraint Set

Designed to fit a variety of hospital beds and ambulance stretchers.
Features two single straps for wrist and ankle, both straps have two
padded, double overlap securing system that adjust to the patients
size. The wrist strap also assists in securing the patients waist

Ferno Res-Q-Mate Stretcher Handle Kit

When the Ferno Res-Q-Mate Stretcher needs to be carried
for any lengthy period the Handle Kit offers greater carrying
options for the rescuer by providing more comfortable and
lift friendly positions. The Handle Kit conveniently locks in
position at either end of the stretcher. Ideally the Res-Q-Mate
Handle Kit should be used with the Ferno Stretcher Handle
Shoulder Harness so that the combined weight of the patient
and stretcher can be transferred from the arms and evenly
shared through the shoulders, chest and back.

Ferno LifeSaver Rescue Stretcher

The Ferno LifeSaver Stretcher is a modern version of the traditional Neil Robertson Stretcher and is designed to
be both quick and easy to use in horizontal and vertical lift situations where minimum bulk is a consideration. The
LIfeSaver Rescue Stretcher comes complete with integral leg and torso flaps that envelope the patient like a traditional
corset which is complimented by a simple head restraint, five built-in patient restraints and a long foot strap. It is fitted
with various carry handles and stainless steel rings that are used at the foot and head end for guiding and lifting the
stretcher in vertical applications. The compact, roll-up design makes storing and transporting the stretcher easy. The
LifeSaver Rescue Stretcher is made with full length 5 mm ribs interwoven in tough 1000 denier, high tenacity, nylon
fabric to provide full body splinting in a very narrow patient package. Also available in military colours.

The Ferno Adjustable Lifting Bridle is available with a variety of karabiner
options. Each of the four arms are adjustable and quickly set for individual
rescue requirements. UV resistant webbing rated at 2520 kg (25 kN) with
hardware wear strips and bright orange tabs for identification of the
adjustment buckles. The BRB-TLB (small, screw gate karabiners) is suitable
for the Traverse Titan and Gazelle Stretchers. The BRB-TLB-TX11S (large,
steel, screw gate karabiner) and the BRB-TLB-LTA (large, steel, triplock
karabiner) have extra large gate openings making them suitable for use
with the Ferno 71 Series stretchers.

Rescue
Designed for the rescue and retrieval of a man overboard (MOB) in a horizontal or vertical position. Its enables
two crew to complete the rescue operation without entering the water. The net design prevents the MOB being
swept out the aft end and has no large openings which can lead to limb entrapment or risk of drowning in difficult
conditions. The net encloses and conforms to the MOB shape and prevents the MOB falling out during lifting. Two
poles enable the mouth of the net to be widened to maximise capture surface and gives rescuers extra reach, better
control and visibility during the rescue process Lift handles assist lifting and the 2:1 mechanical advantage reduces
the lift load by 50%. Includes an integral stretcher that clips on to the rescuers’ safety harness allowing the MOB to
be stretchered immediately after water retrieval. .

How It Works
The Arachnipod, in its basic form, is a simple tripod with the three legs independently pivoting from an
anodised aluminium head. The modular head has a similar design to a door hinge. Inserting or removing a pin
through the centre of the head allows the quick and simple addition or removal of components to create a
configuration to suit any edge management scenario. Each head section contains a shackle for guying while
an optional in-built twin grooved stainless steel pulley is also available.
Arachnipod Kits
The Arachnipod flat packs for simple and convenient storage and the modular
design provides an option to purchase a basic unit and upgrade components
to make a more advanced system. There are numerous kits available ranging
from the basic tripod through to a total edge management system (TEMS).

Ferno Rescue Personal Lanyard (PAL) Code Vas DAISY ADJ
The Ferno Rescue Personal Lanyard allows a rescuer to quickly connect
to a victim and then adjust the strap to the desired length. It works
well for positioning the victim for a lowering or rappel-based pick off
or for an assisted rappel. There is an added loop to the end for a more
positive grip when pulling to adjust. Depending on how the buckle
is loaded, it will begin to slip between 15 kN to 20 kN. Tying off the
buckle will increase strength.
