KoSA International Percussion Workshop Celebrates 15th Year
Castleton, Vermont, USA – The KoSA International Percussion Workshop, Drum Camp and Festival ended
with a crescendo at the celebrated Faculty Grand Finale Concert on Saturday, July 31st.
“We had a great time, and a great crowd,” said KoSA Founder and Artistic Director Aldo Mazza. “When you get
this many unbelievable artists together on one stage, the resulting performances are electrifying and one-of-akind.”
2010 KoSA Faculty included Memo Acevedo, Marcus Santos, Bill Bachman, Dom Famularo, Paul DeLong,
John Beck, Aldo Mazza, Allan Molnar, Liberty DeVitto, Jim Royle, Kiko Osorio, Jeff Salisbury, Rick Van Horn,
Glen Velez, Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, Kiko Osorio, Michael Wimberly and LaToya Wigfall, John Riley &
many special guests.

“Participating in music is best served when the opportunity arrives not just to practice, play and perform with
others, but to absorb new techniques, new concepts and new perspectives in the process. This works
omnidirectionally... between participant and instructors, instructors and instructors, and instructors and
participants, and naturally with the audiences at our evening performances.”
KoSA's 15th International Percussion Workshop was held on the campus of Castleton State College, in the
