install and fine tune
the first commercial ChromoJET
blanket printer.
Mora is the perfect partner for ZIMMER AUSTRIA because of their excellent reputation; experience in flat
screen printing; high end products
for all key markets; excellent technical skills.
CHROMOJET FOR BLANKETS
The ChromoJET process color technology is not only used for carpets,
mats and carpet tiles - it also can be
used to print blankets.
In the recent 2 years a number of
tests were made to print Raschel
(Mink) blankets out of Acrylic (PAC),
Cationic dyeable Polyester (CD-PET)
and Polyester (PET), and ZIMMER
AUSTRIA developed the perfect process for most types of fibres popular
in the blanket industry.
PROCESS COLOR PRINTING
For the print operation a 10 color
printer with a variable resolution between 32 and 76 dpi is used. The colors are made out of base shades.
• There is no minimum order - even
a single blanket can be produced
- providing fast delivery of samples
on the same ChromoJET

Promotion blankets - this might become the biggest field for digital printed blankets. From advertising for

of 2013 and will be in full operation at
the beginning of 2014.
License blankets - it is easy to match
all shades and details of the license
characters from Disney and many
others. Changes during the product
development phase are simplified
on the computer.

CombiPRINT-PP7 is a newly developed
broadband powder thickener system for all kinds of carpets and
textile printing technologies. It has
excellent print properties and in addition it has a number of major advantages in comparison to oil based
thickeners:

using 16 process colors at Maltzahn.
M2Carpets offers wall to wall carpet
printing with the latest ChromoJET
technology which gives unlimited
creative freedom. Very high details,
up to 76 dpi, can be printed on finished (backed) and unfinished (unbacked) carpets on 4 meters and 2 meters width.

To become even more flexible, Satinskin has recently decided to order
their fourth digital printer from ZIMMER AUSTRIA. A COLARIS-TW for terry towel printing.
The COLARIS-TW uses a wet-in-wet
process that is crucial to increasing
ink penetration into the pile, as well
as reducing the amount of ink required. lt consists of an un-batching unit,
Magnoroll inline pre-treatment, special entry unit for terry fabric, printing
in up to 8 colors, with towel-border
detection and a 3-pass dryer with fabric plaiter. Steaming, washing and
drying for reactive inks are all off-line.
Zimmer‘s patented MagnoROLL applies pre-treatment only to the side
being printed and ensures that the fabric arrives at the print head with just
the right amount of moisture.
COLARIS TOWELS
There is practically no limitation in
terms of repeat sizes. From small
washing towels up to large beach
or sauna towels in single or multi
strand can be printed at unsurpassed
definition and almost without limitation in the coloration. Motives of
flat colors as well as nice degradations or photographic images can
be realized. A COLARIS-TW can be
laid out with CMYK, double CMYK
for double speed or with 8 process
colors, allowing to choose between
high speed printing and a wide color
gamut. Print speed up to 500 sqm/h
can be achieved!
