2015 Spring Herd Builder Classic
Dear Fellow Producers:
We are pleased to offer an excellent set of modern Boer goats for your evaluation. You will find an assortment of does and bucks that should fill the needs of
all producers, whether at the top of the industry or just starting out. As you evaluate the offering, we encourage you to critically evaluate phenotype and pedigree. The
goats presented, in many cases, are the culmination of years of careful thought and selection.
The auction platform, for the second year, will be Harvey Livestock Auctions. We are sure that those of you that participated in the Fall 2014 Herd Builder
appreciated the functionality and stability of the platform. Features that allow you to track the lots you are interested in and to manage your bids provide significant
benefits. If you have any questions about how to use the auction site do not hesitate to contact Jill Harvey, the auction site manager. Jill has a vested interest to insure
your auction experience is fair and efficient. Available new features are discussed in greater detail after the “Terms and Conditions” section of this catalog.
As we have done since the 2nd year of the Herd Builder, free delivery will be offered in your direction up to 400 miles. We will travel main routes and ask that
you meet us along the route to pick up the goats you purchased. Please review the Terms and Conditions for qualifying criteria. The bulk of the lots will be delivered
May 31.
This is the 8th year of the Fall Herd Builder Classic. We appreciate those of you who have participated in the auction in the past and look forward to assisting
you with Boer genetics in the future.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
AFTER THE SALE. Buyers will receive an email by noon the day after the sale with confirmation of their purchase(s) and the total amount due. The bulk of the lots will be delivered on
May 31, 2015. Buyers will be contacted to discuss possible delivery locations. If Buyer wishes to receive the original registration certificate of the lot(s) they purchased, they should send
payment as soon as possible to Riverview Boer Goats, 2783 Bert-Reed Road, Felicity, OH 45120 or through Harvey Auction by credit card or pay cash or certified check on delivery. Free
delivery will not be made on unpaid lots unless an arrangement concerning payment is agreed to in advance.
PAYMENT. Cash, personal checks, cashier checks and traveler checks will be accepted. Business and personal checks will be accepted, however, those paying via business or personal
checks will be provided with a copy of the registration certificate at delivery. Once the check clears, the Buyer will be mailed the original registration certificate. Also, payment may be
made by credit card through the auction website. A 3% fee will apply. All monetary funding must be in U.S. currency. The right of property shall not pass until after full settlement is
made. Should any Buyer fail to settle for his or her purchase, the Seller or Sellers reserves the right and full power to resell the animal to the best advantage either publicly or privately,
without further notice. Any loss arising from such resale, together with any and all expenses incurred, shall be payable by the defaulter. All settlements must be made prior to delivery
unless advance arrangements are made with Seller.
BIDS, DISPUTES AND AUCTION CLOSE. Bids will be accepted online through the auction service provider’s website. The auction service provider’s determination of the final bid/
buyer will be conclusive. Internet bidding is the sole method in which a lot may be purchased and are subject to the terms and conditions established by Harvey Auction Company. Seller
assumes no responsibility for the bidding thereon. Internet buyers must register with Harvey Auction Company to utilize the service. Harvey Auction Company does not charge a buyer’s
premium. This auction has a group ending time. All lots are scheduled to close at 8:00 pm EST. However, extended bidding will delay close on all lots. The sale will not close until there
has been no bid on any lot for five minutes. All lots will close after there has been no bid on any lot for five minutes.
TRANSPORTATION. Riverview Boer Goats will travel 400 miles north, east, south and west to accomplish free delivery to a central location. Buyers availing themselves of this
service must meet Riverview Boer Goats at a central location within a two hour timeframe set by Riverview Boer Goats. Only one trip in each direction shall be arranged. The primary
delivery date for most lots will be May 31, 2015. Free delivery is available only for lots that payment has been received prior to the delivery date unless an arrangement concerning
payment is made in advance. Riverview Boer Goats and their consignors assume responsibility for injury after the sale and during delivery. If an injury occurs, the Buyer has the option to
void their purchase and receive a full refund.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS. The above terms of the sale shall constitute a contract between the Buyer and the Seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following
purchase in the sale constitutes a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two (2) parties connected, therefore, are not covered by the term and conditions of this sale.
ANNOUNCEMENTS. Every effort was made to assure the accuracy of this catalog, however all announcements posted on Seller’s website will take precedence over the printed material
in the catalog. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements. Seller’s website is www.RiverviewBoerGoats.com.
REGISTRATIONS/TRANSFERS. Buyers are responsible for forwarding the forms and transfer fees to the registry of their choice.
INSURANCE. Insurance is at the option of the Buyer. However, as described under the “Transportation” section, a buyer is entitled to a full refund if an animal is injured or dies prior to
delivery. This guarantee by Seller is limited to the purchase price of the lot.
GUARANTEE. Bucks: Should any buck seven (7) months of age or over fail to prove a breeder after being used on does known to be breeders the matter shall be reported in writing to
the Seller within six (6) months following the date of purchase. Seller will then have the right and privilege of ninety (90) days after the buck is returned to Seller to prove the buck is a
breeder. If the buck is confirmed to be a non-breeder, a full refund of the purchase price will be made by the Seller. Any buck returned will be at the buyer’s risk. Seller is not responsible
for damage caused by foreign bodies after the animal has been sold or of sickness not apparent at the time of the sale. There is no guarantee that semen collected from the buck will freeze.
In cases where the animal has been mistreated in care, housing or nutrition in any way, this guarantee is null and void. No other guarantees are written or implied.
Does: Does are guaranteed to be breeders. In the event a female greater than 12 months of age at the date of sale is claimed to be a non-breeder, after having been bred regularly to a buck
known to be a breeder, and after having been treated by a licensed veterinarian, the matter must be reported in writing to the Seller within six (6) months following the date of purchase.
Seller shall have six (6) additional months in which to prove any such female a breeder and may use any registered buck of the breed available to them. In the event a female less than 12
months of age at the date of sale is claimed to be a non-breeder, after having been bred regularly to a buck known to be a breeder, and after having been treated by a licensed veterinarian,

kids or that she will carry kids full term, or the kids carried will not be mummified. Seller is not responsible for damage caused by foreign bodies after the animal has been sold or for
sickness not apparent at the time of the sale. No other guarantees are either written or implied. In cases where the animal is subject to any hormone or surgical reproduction techniques
after the sale, or has been mistreated in care, housing, or nutrition in any way, this guarantee is null and void.
Transportation charges on animals returned to Seller are the responsibility of Buyer. No incidental expenses such as feed, care, veterinary charges, etc. will be charged by either party
when making the settlement. If Seller is successful in proving the animal in question to be a breeder, the Buyer, at his or her expense, will reclaim said animal. Should the Seller fail to
prove the animal a breeder, then the Buyer is guaranteed a satisfactory replacement, FOB farm, or location of origin, or a refund of the actual purchase price paid FOB selling point. In no
event, shall the Seller be responsible for more than the purchase price. Should a dispute arise over the quality of a replacement, there will be a cash settlement.

This year, we will be hosting the highly anticipated 2015 Spring Herd Builder Classic. We are excited to bring over 35 years of auction experience into
the livestock auction arena! We understand that some of you are new to our online auction platform, so we want to take the time to explain a few of the
auction features!
REGISTRATION: In order to register for this auction, you must create a user profile—To do that, Go to HarveyAuctionCo.com > Click on the Harvey
Livestock Auctions logo on the right of your screen>Select ‘View Auction’ next to the 2014 Fall Herd Builder Classic > Click ‘View Lots’ > Click
‘Login to Bid’ > Click ‘Register Now’ and enter the required information—This year, you have the option to pay using a credit card. When you register,
you have the option to enter the information of the credit card you would like to use. There is a 3% additional charge to use a credit card. Remember
your username and password—you can use it for the next auction you participate in with Harvey Livestock Auctions!
MAX BID: Every lot will have a starting/ current bid and an asking bid. As a bidder, you have the option to bid the ‘asking bid’ which will be the current
bid + one bid increment ($25) or to bid your max bid which is the maximum amount you are willing to pay for that lot. The computer will then
automatically and competitively bid in minimum increments on your behalf up to your maximum amount. You can increase your maximum bid at any
time before the auction ends. This means you don't have to keep coming back to re-bid every time another bid is placed.
WATCHLIST/ MY ITEMS: As a convenience to you, the bidder, we have a Watchlist option. At the top of your catalog screen (You must register and
login first) click the tab that says ‘My Items’ then 'Watchlist'. Every lot that you bid on will automatically be added to your Watchlist. You can also
manually add lots that you are interested in by clicking the check box next to a lot on the catalog page and then clicking ‘Add to Watchlist’. This feature
allows you to watch just the lots you are interested in. This is especially helpful when the auction is ending. You can view and bid on just the lots you are
interested in from one location—No more scrolling through unwanted lots to find the one you want!
BID WITH YOUR iPHONE/ iPAD: We are happy to announce that you can bid using your iPhone or iPad! In order for Safari to ‘remember’ your login
information and allow you to bid, you must first change a setting. Go to Settings> Safari> Block Cookies> Select Never. You can change your settings
back once the auction is over, but must make this change in order to bid using Apple devices.
BROWSER SELECTION: We have found that Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome work best when using our software. Please call Jill @
937-244-1448 if you are having trouble registering or bidding. Please register early and make sure you understand how the software works before the day
of the auction to ensure sufficient time to correct any problems.
AUCTION ANNOUNCEMENTS: Auction announcements may be made during the auction to registered bidders via email. Please be sure to keep an
eye on your email during the auction in case we need to make you aware of any catalog or auction updates.
AUCTION CLOSE: Please note when bidding, the auto-extend feature for this online auction is set to 5 minutes. All lots stay open until no
one has bid on any lot for period of 5 minutes.

CHAMPION’S CHOICE is a very wide, fast growing doeling that is part of a pair that we are selling on this spring’s Herd Builder sale. Champion’s choice is out of
our Ennobled doe LLGG W16 that we have gotten outstanding kids out of for several years. LLGG W16 is the dam of the 1st and 5th place late 3 to 6 month doeling
class at the 2011 National ABGA show. We paired her with RDBG HOT SHOT a buck that we bought from Ron Dilly of Oklahoma. Hot Shot is a direct son of CSB
BROKEN S SMOKIN HOT RUGER the 2012 and 2013 Premier Sire at the National ABGA show. Hot Shot is also a ¾ brother to the 2012 National Champion doe
RDBG IZZY. Enough name dropping, take a good look at this doe!! She is a great doe in her own right. Just imagine the width and muscle she can add to your flock.
The thickness this doe exhibits in her chest floor and forearm could add that next degree of dimension to your kids. She has an udder that is 2 x 2 with a spur, has 80%

RBGO One Percent certainly possesses a phenotype that will rank her in the top one percent of the breed. Add to that a pedigree that blends the best of the wether

RBGO Top Shelf is an AABG NBD Gotcha Covered, Ennob., daughter. I would have preferred to use his sire, but the semen is only sold (rarely) by auction and
brought $1,500 per straw the last time it was sold. So Lary suggested Gotcha Covered as an alternate. I wanted to pursue this line because HBS Absolute, Ennob., is
one of the top wether industry sires currently in production. If I am going to do anything in the wether end of the industry I am going to do it right. The 14 or 15
straws of Festus semen Hickory Grove and RBGO have should help. So, as you would expect, the Absolute son produced a clean fronted, smooth sided, wide based

Bad Ass with a Blue Gainey bred buck we ennobled. Yata Hey, Ennob., was our move to bring more height and extension into our predominant Ryal’s base herd.
GFTG’s pedigree also includes RRD Ammo, Ennob., an RRD Ruger, Ennob., son bought at the Ryal’s dispersal by Kevin Kidwell and family and DCW Bo Jangle,
Ennob., an ABGA National Grand Champion. On the bottom side you might recognize the same pedigree that was discussed on Lot #34...the dam of this buck is a
daughter of the best doe we never got ennobled. Her quality no doubt had something to do with Maverick, Ennob., and the ACR influence in her pedigree. That’s a lot

AFB2 BRAVEHEART! Where do I even begin. He is a double bred JESTER AABG STEAM ROLLER who was the 2010 National Reserve Champion.
BRAVEHEART did plenty of winning himself with 81 points and 60 kid points. All inspections have been done on his kids just waiting on the paperwork to be
processed and he will be ENNOBLED!! Hoping that will be finished before sale day! This buck completely changed my breeding program. He puts the meat in meat
goat. Just look at his picture. He is explosive from every angle. Start at his perfectly shaped roman head that goes down to a huge extended neck and a blown apart
