Chain saw protective pants and chaps contain material designed
to reduce the risk or severity of an injury, and give the operator
extra reaction time when contact is made by a moving chain. The
cut retardant material is designed to "pull" apart and clog up the
sprocket system of the chain saw and slow or stop the chain from
rotating depending on the speed of the chain, length and angle
of contact and the power of the saw. Protective pants and chaps
should never be considered safer than proper and correct chain saw
handling safety procedures.

Protective Apparel Warranty
Protective apparel warranty is 90 days from the date of the
customer's original purchase for defects in material and
workmanship. Normal wear, tear, or abuse is not covered under
warranty. Product must be returned with claim form to nearest
Husqvarna Distribution center in Edmonton, Mississauga, or
Moncton. All care and maintenance instructions must be followed
as stated on the care label of each garment.
Boot Warranty
All boots have a 90 day warranty from the date of the customer's
original purchase for defects in material and workmanship.
Normal wear, tear, or abuse are not covered under warranty. The
fit of the boot is not covered under warranty. Boots will not be
accepted for return if they show any signs of outside wear. Please
have your customer wear the boots inside to make sure they fit.
Boot Care Instructions
Boots need to be cleaned, conditioned, and water-proofed in order
to get maximum wear life. Conditioning and waterproofing boots
will keep the leather from cracking and splitting, extending the life
of the boot. Follow the manufacturers care instructions to get the
maximum wear life.
