WINTER SPORTS / 17 Series 2013–2014 Sochi 2014 Olympic Games Eurosport has five on-site film crews to produce a series of daily programmes during the Sochi Games, which are being held on 7–23 February. There will be four flash news programmes between 12:00 and 18:00 CET feauturing results, analysis, interviews and previews of the coming events. Athletics European Championships LIVE 12–17 August in Zurich, Switzerland The greatest athletics championships in 2014 are all LIVE on Eurosport. The list includes the IAAF World Indoor Championships* in Poland in March, the European Team Championships in June and the season’s climax, the European Championships in Zurich in August. Fans won’t miss a minute of the European Championships with every heat and final broadcast LIVE. Eurosport and Eurosport 2 will continue to feature the very best of women’s and youth football as well as exclusive LIVE coverage of Bundesliga and the FIFA Club World Cup. 2014 FIFA World Cup 12 June – 13 July On the road to Brazil 2014, Eurosport will broadcast friendly matches featuring the participating teams plus a special show, Brazilmania. Monthly from January to April, then weekly in May, Brazilmania will focus on the preparation of the teams and will include portraits of the stars and reports on the Brazilian culture. During the World Cup, Eurosport will cover the competition with daily programmes: __ 08:30 CET, a 13-minute programme featuring a review of the previous day and the latest news. __ 14:30 and 17:30 CET, two seven minute flash news updates featuring a preview of the day ahead from the Brazilian point of view and all the latest news before the first match held at 18:00. __ 20:30 and 23:30 CET, two 20 minute LIVE shows from on-site studio in Rio, including analysis from experts led by Thomas Berthold and LIVE reports by Eurosport’s journalists across the host country. Bundesliga LIVE August 2013 – May 2014 August 2014 – May 2015 Eurosport 2 extensively covers the German league in 35 territories across Europe with up to six LIVE matches per match day. The 2013 Champions League final between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund displayed how competitive the German clubs are and why Bundesliga is such a great league to watch. FOOTBALL / 2 SPORTS / 2 1 Series UEFA Youth League LIVE September 2013 – April 2014 September 2014 – April 2015 Eurosport is official broadcaster of the UEFA Youth League, the new European U-19 club competition. The competition is the guaranteed way to see tomorrow’s talents today as the 32 clubs qualified for the UEFA Champions League group stage participate in the U-19 tournament. Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester United are amongst the clubs regularly broadcast LIVE by Eurosport during the group stage phase. The knockout phase is LIVE from February 2014 until the final in April.
