The band formed in 2012, with a lineup of Rei and Yu-Ra.
In 2013, naoki joined them.
They’ve taken booking offers from all sorts of event organizers all over Japan since the b
and’s beginning because of their exceptional performances on stage, high quality of the s
ongs and the worldview of them.
They’ve based their activities in Tokyo playing with both major bands and indie ones, als
o playing the same gigs with simon yong band (Singapore), The Erkonauts (US), RED N
OVA (Sweden), Hentai Babies (UK) and so on.
They lead the crowds into the spectacular world of unclose with their overpoweringly/irre
sistible shows and uncategolized musicality. They receive a high evaluation from all genr
e of people, still remaining solitary presense though.
Apart from their own hosted gigs, they also collaborate on the events with paintings, com
edies and DJs. Its reputation is well high since you can check wide variety of the next-ge
naration artists and the tickets sell out each time.
Their movement, sledgehammered perfomances and originalities in indie music scene ha
ve been getting the attraction of attention.

Rei started playing the bass during her high school years.
She launched the band by herself and appeared on the media including television
programmes.
After the band’s split-up, she supported a large number of bands. Her prominent
appearance was applauded by the band’s members and the audience, “She stands
outconspicuously even though she is a supported member”.
She met Yu-Ra and formed unclose with him in 2012. Her style of playing landed ‘vocals
and bass’ from playing the bass only.
Most of the band performances are directed and created under her control.
Totally speechless with her perfomances that breaks down existing style of the vocals and
her expressiveness a quasi like a theatrical play.
Delicate, gallant and fascinated perfomances…she receives a high appraisal here in Japan
and from overseas.
She also had a music session with Brandon Khoo (Singapore) and her ability of
expressions has been getting more strikingly abundant in recent years.

naoki started playing the guitar when he was in junior high school.
He moved to Tokyo entering an academy of music and he had his actions genuinely.
Besides playing in indie scene, he had some connections of major scene e.g., working as
a roadie of Kill=slayd.
Formed the band with a roadie of GLAY and got an increase in the opportunities of bein
g on music magazines and so on.
He also attended lectures given by Amano Takashi, the guitarist who is famous for suppor
ting Carmen Maki.
He participated with a omnibus album in major field and had gigs of an instrumental ban
d and different kinds of music scenes.
‘faceless crow’, even now widely-known in the mainstream musician, Usui ozma Takafu
mi (ex X-ray)’s band, naoki joined it, but resigned because of the musical difference. And
he experienced in lots of major bands.
In 2013, naoki became the member of unclose. He’s skillful at technical performances wit
h fierce expressing of feeling inside.
・Yu-Ra / drummer and songwriting
Yu-Ra started playing the guitar aged 9 and changed to playing the drums when he was 1
2.
He’d supported bands actively playing the bass, koto (Japanese harp), Shamisen, piano an
d singing aswell.
Also had provided lyrics, composed songs and arrangement for both major/indie scenes.
And more, it included a lot of fields such as a recording engineer, a scriptwriter, a radio p
ersonality and an event organizer.
He formed unclose with Rei in 2012. Since then, he retired those activities as the above m
entioned and he’s forcused on unclose itself.
Been creating the whole world of unclose with writing, composing and arranging songs.
Although he wears mask whilst playing the drums on stage, there is no need to show his f
ace up in his world of view which he’d like to make.

[unclose] will require the following equipment provided by the event
organizer/venue for any live shows:

having [return])
