On Saturday evening the debutant writer Megna Pant’s book was launched,
who also works as financial journalist. The turnout of avid readers was
double of expected.
“One & a Half wife” has gone into two reprints already in India, was featured
in the AC Nielsen report, as a bestseller. It also won Amazon break through
novel & word hustlers’ award.
At Jashanmal Bookstores we believe in not only drawing a reader’s
imagination but also bringing the writer, her thoughts up close and personal.
Bringing the vigor of a live exchange with the creator of the characters and
the story.
We also had Alexander Nabb and Sheena Kimatari as panel guests.

The evening began with the host introducing the writer & and the panel
guests. With Meghna sharing her experience, her thoughts and her process of
writing.

Alex & Sheena read their favorite passages from the book and shared their
views on the book and its poignancy of connect to real lives, which was met
by loud applause from the guests.
Meghna tirelessly answered questions by the very enthusiastic audience.
The engrossed audience’s interest further revealed itself in long que to buy
the book and to get it signed by Meghna Pant.
