Working with the Galerie Plan urinal bowl, our
new Flush Control 1000N unit uses cutting edge
technology to regulate water consumption
and hygiene. It can flush at just 0.5 litres, and
flush frequency increases if usage rises.
The technology uses a temperature sensor in
the waste trap which cannot be seen by the user.
Touch free, vandal resistant and with overflow
protection - plus hygiene flush option - the 1000N
is a major step forward for Galerie Plan urinal
flushing systems.

Why Twyford?
Redesign of the existing college to
accommodate over 3,000 students and to
serve the local community. This £40 million
project opened in September 2012.
Twyford were chosen because of our reputation
for quality, reliability and flexibility. We are also
well established as market leaders in water
saving washroom products - with many
innovative products offering sustainable
solutions which help to fulfil the BREEAM
criteria. Our ranges
also provided the
contemporary design
specified throughout
the project.
Large-scale hospital new build, with
new buildings on previous car parks
and refurbishment of old buildings.
The contractors chose Twyford Bathrooms
because of our existing relationship, and the
reputation we had established with them.
They knew that our flexibility and ability to
manage such a large scale job would help
them achieve all their targets - and that the
products we supplied would be of the highest
quality and durability, and fully compliant
with HTM64 requirements.
The Requirement:
The contractors were looking for water
efficient products compliant with the BREEAM
requirements for sustainable buildings, all with
a contemporary design.
The Solution:
Products include 80 Refresh back-to-wall toilet
pans, 41 Doc.M packs and 24 Spectrum urinals.

Ceramic and stainless steel product to
include 2,500 Sola washbasins and 1,700
Avalon Rimless toilets, all compliant to the
demanding HTM64 regulations for the
healthcare sector.
The Solution:
All products were provided in modular pods
offsite, which were brought on site as required
for easy installation.

INTRODUCTION
The Twyford healthcare range is fully compliant to all regulations, and indeed exceeds national standards.
The following pages provide an easy reference guide to Twyford products that are specifically HTM64
compliant. Putting emphasis on the prevention of infection, the Department of Health’s HTM64 provides
regulatory guidance on the design, application and specification of sanitary assemblies in health buildings.

• We must be given reasonable opportunity to
inspect the product in the installed situation.
If removed, the product should be retained
for inspection.
• Our policy is one of continuous improvement.
If the product has failed under the terms of
the guarantee and a replacement is offered,
but identical goods are no longer available,
we will replace with the nearest equivalent.
• This Guarantee applies only to the single
product in question and not to the whole
bathroom suite. This Guarantee does not
extend to cover consequential loss or damage
which could not be reasonably forseen at
the time the product was purchased.
