Such a Beautiful Dress!
She is wearing a pearl necklace and
has a bracelet on each wrist. The
dress skirt is looped up and worn
over a very detailed underskirt.
Who was she? She was the wife of
Maximilian I of Mexico.

A Tiny Waist!
Her corset must be cinched very
tight. Her lovely dress has
ribbon accents along the sleeves,
collar, and waist. In her hands is
a lace handkerchief. Both wrists
have a bracelet and she is
wearing a cross necklace. The
skirt is pleated nicely around the
V shaped waist.

Lovely Lady
Braiding or ribbons decorate this dress.
On the cuffs and top sleeve there is an
accent of fringe or lace. She seems to have
on two different necklaces. One is a chain
that appears to be connected to the brooch
and the other is a small ribbon tied in a
bow. Both wrists have a bracelet. The
collar of the dress is made of lace. The full
length photograph of the same lady shows
that the skirt is also edged with ribbon and
lace. Under the dress she is wearing a lace
edged undershirt.
