All Competitors must complete and sign a Health Declaration Form & hand it in to Gear Check on arrival & definitely
before you compete. No Declaration No Ride
GENERAL INFORMATION







Only Horses entered into the competition may be ridden on the grounds.
Warm-up – Please use the designated warm up area.
Gear Check - Please present to gear check 10 minutes prior to your test.
Dogs: PRARG’s /Bio Security policy is NO DOGS on the grounds at any club events. Please don’t be offended when we ask
you to remove your favourite pooch. Please tell your friends.
Please be prepared to ride earlier if required.
Warm up/lunging areas clearly defined. Please note that lunging area has new sand. Lunge in the round yard and strictly
no lunging in the warm up area. A MAXIMUM of 10 Minutes in the lunging arena per horse.
No -one riding a horse in the lunging yard can take precedence over a horse waiting to be lunged. No public to be
standing in those areas. Children to be under control of parents at all times.
The Protein Powerhouse will be at the ACE Young Horse Championship - PRARG nice and early serving fantastic coffee.
- EA Stallion Safe Guidelines – All riders must be aware that PRARG has adopted all guidelines and recommendations in
EA’s Stallion Safe Guidelines. Stallion owners need to be aware of these guidelines and comply with the requirements
and all other riders please be aware of stallions on the ground.
FORMAT
This event is being run in the same format as the State Young Horse Championship format prescribed in section 5 of the
rule book, however ALL horse entered in Round two will be eligible to compete in round two (not just the top ten
combinations from round one). Copies of the tests for each round at http://www.equestrian.org.au/dressage-YH under
“State Young Horse Championships”.
BRIDLE NUMBERS:
All Queensland dressage horses have been allocated a bridle number and this number MUST be worn on both sides of the horse
when being ridden during the event. This number must be quoted on the entry form. Interstate horses/ponies that do not have a
bridle number will be allocated a temporary bridle number and will be required to supply their own equipment for this.
PRESENTATION OF PRIZES:
Presentation for Round 1 will be held at approx 1pm in the Rosenbjerg Hospitality area.
Presentation of the Championship Round will be held once all classes are finalised in the Rosenbjerg Hospitality area.
BREEDERS AWARD
ACE Group Inc. will award a broad sash to the breeder of the Champion Horse & Pony in each age group at the ACE Young Horse
Championship.

Welcome to the 2016 ACE Group Inc Young Horse Dressage Championship.
This competition is open to all EA registered horses and ponies and hopefully will become a popular annual event, and
we also look forward to seeing our events being held across the other States. It’s also an excellent opportunity for
horses to qualify for State and National YH Championships.
Australia is a Mecca for horse breeding and is well positioned to offer riders and owners impeccably bred horses with
world class pedigrees for the equestrian sports.
