The House Boat

Freien Montessori Schule in Altach.
In the year 3000 a.D. a man named Brian Lennon, age 113 years, and a woman, Jennifer Emma Micro Soft Mc
Curtney, age 63, are living in a house boat in the underground sewer system of London. Staying with them is the
boy Justin Jusik and the girl Marie Janine Oberhauser. Both disappeared in the year 1969 from a little town in
Germany, just at the moment when Louis Armstrong landed on the moon.
Why that happened or how it happened even Mr. Lenon doesn’t know. All of a sudden these two kids were on
the boat. On top of it, the girl was carrying a monkey in her arms. A monkey with brown soft fur and black eyes.
Something they only knew from books.
There was an enormous confusion, the moment the two teenagers appeared Not only did they scream on the
top of their lungs. They sounded strange! Mr. Lenon noticed, that the boy shouted in a high female voice .The
girl however had the voice of a boy.
Then Stewy the monkey started to talk in a human voice, asking everybody to be quiet. All of them were so
astounded , that it grew quiet.
Stewy explains about Marie and her parents and then about Justin and his parents.
Marie and Justin feel a prickling in their stomages. A few moments later they are in their own bodies, but
Stewy stays the same.
He is talking about himself. Having been a test animal for NASA. He was then bought by Marie’s father and lived
with the family. Why he can talk now and understands things has to do with the time travel.
Then Justin and Marie want to know about the
two people, the time 3000. Why are they not in
a house above ground and where are they
exactly.
Brian Lennon starts to explain, that he and
Mrs. McCurtney are living in the underground
sewer system of London, because it protects
them and all the other people from the
machines. It is like a shield and any kind of
water is a kind of wall.
It can change temperatures from freezing to
boiling. It distroys anything electronicle. Where
water is, one is safe.
Mr. Lenon had worked for windows, before the
world started to change, developing PC’s and
vehicles. 60 years ago he did built the house
boat just for fun and for week end fun. But in
time when everything started to change the
boat became his and Mrs. Mac Curtney’s
home.
Mrs. Mc Curtney however has an all together
different biography. She is a decendent of
Micro Soft. „ What’s that and what is a PC and
windows?“ Justine and Marie are asking.
„Oh no they are coming from a time before
personal computers, lap tops and hackers!“
says Mrs. Mc Curtney to Mr. Lenon in dismain.
But he has an idea. He brings the two to a sort of movie theater and there he shows them old DVDs about the
world up to 2010. There things started to change. Here Mr Lenon ended.
But turning to them he continued with a serious smile“ Josh
Newman appeared. He was at that time 38 years old. Born
in Skandinavia he went to America to work for the big
software company Microsoft. He was a nice looking fellow
with short brown hair, a bit short for that time only 1 meter
61, a bit skinny wheighing only 49 kilos.
He didn’t seem to have had friends or a girlfriend or a lover.
He did all for microsoft. He lived fort hat company,
developing ever newer stuff, software for artificial
intelligence as far as we know. But then 12 years later he
was released, let go, thrown out.
Why is a mistery. But he was so angry that he went to
London. Here he worked and lived for the rest of his life in
a cellar, planing his revenge. He found out that microsoft
made war machines. And just a few days later he brought
these machines under his control, instructing them to kill all
humans. Coincidentally he died a day later.
So now we live in a world with quite a few machines, who
hate humans and distroy them where ever they find us.
Luckily a long time ago some of our race found out about
the protective qualities of water and shit.
And also that just the machines build by
microsoft want to harm us. So we survived
by hiding, living on or under water. But it is
often a life without the sun, and of always
being afraid, of not knowing which machine
will attack us and which won’t.“

der Freien Montessori Schule in Altach. Initiatoren sind die Lehrerinnen und Lehrer der
FMS. Erfunden und niedergeschrieben wurde sie mit Hilfe von Regina Sommer. Die
Zeichnungen wurden von den Jugendlichen erstellt.
