General Features
CNC Controller
The machine is standard equipped
with a FANUC 18MC controller.
Automatic Tool Changer
Versatile Indexing Table
The rotary table features 6 hydraulically powered clamping pads that perform
at 315-320 kg/cm2 and a hydraulically actuated shot pin for every 90°.
Though the table can be indexed automatically in standard positions of 0°,
90°, 180°, and 270°, every angle between 0° and 360° can be set manually.
For true automation, optional B-axis control allows for CNC positioning at
360°. To save set-up time, waiting time and machining hours, the machine
allows machining of 4 faces at the same level in one set-up. Processes
can include boring, drilling, and tapping. Mutual accuracy between faces
is guaranteed. To minimize wear and negative friction, all contact surfaces
are lined with Turcite-B. The table’s surrounding chip/coolant pan collects
and directs coolant and metal waste to the chip conveyor and receptacle.

The optional ATC holds 32, 60, or 90,
tools with a twin tool arm that keeps the
next tool at ready position. The easy
access open-face design ensures fast
loading and unloading. Custom tool
adaptation is as simple as matching
tool studs with the CT50 tool shank.
General Features
Extra-Safe Machine Bed
The wide machine bed box ways
provide solid support for heavy
work pieces. Bed box ways are
induction hardened and precision
ground. Automatic intermittent
lubrication of all box ways ensures
smooth axis movement and
enhanced safety. The box ways
are lined with Turcite-B for minimal
wear and friction.
The chip
conveyor built beside the table
provides efficiency for machine
cleaning
and
maintenance.
High Performance Spindle
For highest rigidity performance
with minimal wear, spindle and
sleeve surfaces are made of
Aluminum Chromium Molybdenum
steel and hardened with a nitride
process. For canned cycle drilling,
spindle’s in-and-out function can
be CNC contolled in the W-axis.

The AC-driven spindle motor is
mounted directly on the headstock
to minimize vibration and eliminate
