The Galler Universe
There is a creator behind the Chocolaterie Galler, namely Jean
Galler who was born among desserts …
From the family pastry shop founded by his grandfather in 1930,
he has kept the pleasure of working with pure
ingredients, such as butter and cream.
At the age of 16, he was attracted to chocolate: this living substance fascinated him. He tested, he created and already he enjoyed it. In order to improve himself and to discover other flavours, he studied in Basel, Switzerland, and later at Gaston Lenôtre in Paris.
In 1974, he was voted «best apprentice baker-confectioner of
Belgium». The company also received several awards, such as the
one for the best Innovation for the Chocolat-Thé concept at the
Franchise Fair of Brussels in 2002.
More than 36 years later, the foundations remain the same:

Since 1994, Galler has recognized as Belgian Royal Warrant Holder. Despite the change of reign in 2013, Galler was
re-elected by the Court because of its great value.
Today, Galler‘s products are sold in 32 countries around the
globe and in more than 2000 points of sales. Moreover, Jean
Galler and his team are proud of their mission, which is « Continuously bring about pleasure through a creative and quality chocolate experience ».
At the age of 21, he founded his own chocolate factory in Liège,
Belgium.
