HeartBreaker PressKit 2016 - Heart Breaker
www.WeAreHeartBreaker.com
We are HEART BREAKER – Celebrating the music of Heart and Led Zeppelin.
Hailing from North Carolina, we strive to bring our concert-goers the ultimate rock and
roll experience, while paying detailed tribute to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
inductees, HEART and LED ZEPPELIN.
One would be hard pressed to find a better “Ann” and “Nancy” than Heart Breaker’s
Suzi Nelson and Joan Burton. Coupled with a backing band that go the extra mile to
not only sound like, but invoke the image and vibe of these epic bands. Heart Breaker
is not just a “cover band” nor a standard “tribute,” but are a true sonic, visual, and
visceral concert experience. Formerly known as the tribute band Heart Brigade and
rocking the East Coast of the USA and drawing rave reviews, we have revamped our
song list to include more Led Zeppelin in an effort to reach a broader audience.
Below you’ll find more information on us, as well as links to our websites, video,
photos, and contact information.
BIO
HEART BREAKER is the Ultimate USA Tribute to Heart and Led Zeppelin. A
national touring act, based in North Carolina with the goal of playing each song with
love and respect. The band, formerly known as the tribute Heart Brigade, has played
House of Blues in Orlando FL, Jannus Live in St. Petersburg FL, The Fillmore in
Charlotte NC, Rams Head Center Stage in MD, The Orange Peel in Asheville NC,
Ziggy's By The Sea in Wilmington NC, Lincoln Theatre and The Ritz in Raleigh NC,
as well as numerous festivals and summer concert series up and down the East Coast,
all to rave reviews.
With Suzi Nelson on lead vocals, you will think you're hearing Ann Wilson herself.
Suzi has the ability to take on challenging Heart songs like Alone, Barracuda, and What
About Love and is not afraid to bring the full Robert Plant rasp to Led Zeppelin songs
such as Misty Mountain Hop, Trampled Under Foot and The Immigrant Song.
Joan Burton expertly delivers Nancy Wilson's signature intricate acoustic and electric
guitar licks, and is equally as talented a vocalist performing lead and harmonies, on
such songs as Crazy On You and The Battle of Evermore and Ramble On.
With the unmatched musicianship of the other band members (Kenny Harrell on lead
guitar, Steve Arnold on drums, Jeff Reynolds on bass, Kevin Brown on keys), we are
perfectionists at creating a true concert experience, focusing not just on the music, but
also the outfits and stage display. HEART BREAKER is not a cover band. We are a
true tribute band, with each member honoring the music of Heart and Led Zeppelin.
This alone sets us apart from many other tributes.
