the Department of Education - Central Office, regarding its Acceptance Letter of Teachers from
Regions NCR, III, VII, IX & XI for die "Curso Para Prolesores Filipinos de Espanol" (Summer
Training Course for Teachers) in Spain on August 1-12, 2016.

The Bureau of Curriculum Development (BCD), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of
Spain, Insituto Cervantes and Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECID) has been
implementing Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) in Spanish Language. Relative to this,
there is an annual Summer Course for Teachers to be held in Santander, Spain in August.
In view of this, we are happy to inform you that the following teachers have been accepted to
the "Curso Para Profesores Filipinos de Esparlol" (Summer Training Course for Teachers) which
will be held at the Universidad International Menendez Pefayo, Santander, Spain on August 112, 2016.

The said teachers were identified based on their performance during the teacher training
programs at the Institute Cervantes, Manila and after having passed the DELE (Diplomas of
Spanish as 3 Foreign Language) examination.
Please advise them to have their passport processed in time for VISA application. They will be
advised on the date of VISA application and orientation.
Expenses incidental to their local travel relative to the processing of their travel documents shall
be charged against MOOE/SEF/local funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules
and regulations. Their salary while they are on official travel in Spain shall continue to be
provided by DepEd including travel expenses (plane fare to and from Spain and bus fare to and
from Santander, Spain), one-time travel expenses from residence to Manila and vice-versa,
including per diems, travel insurance and visa application fees.
The grant from the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport will cover tuition fees,
accommodation, full board and the social and cultural program.
In addition to this, they are requested to comply with the procedures on travel abroad as
stipulated in DepEd Order No. 43, s, 2014.
Attached herewith are The acceptance letter from the Embassy of Spain, acceptance letter form
(to be accomplished by the teacher) and travel authority request form A, These documents
including the scanned passport must be sent back on or before June 20, 2016 to the Bureau of
Curriculum Development, Attention: Ma. Melissa D. Albino.
