engine and cooling system, the wardrobe and bed are positioned at the back of the

lets you choose gas or diesel. Now, you can
select the type of engine you prefer or
which best fits your needs, and everything

Diesel-powered motor homes
operate at much lower RPMs
than gas engines. So there’s
much less wear and tear on the
engines, resulting in a longer
life expectancy. Diesel engines
usually produce higher torque
than gas. That’s more power

Expert customers agree, we’ve created the most SUV-like
ride and handling possible in a motor home. To do so,
we teamed up with Hendrickson, a leading industry
supplier, to create the proprietary suspension for the
Workhorse UFO.™ Its parabolic springs and premium
Bilstein® shocks in the front provide a smooth ride
and incredible handling. The unique rear suspension
incorporates coil springs and Bilstein shocks for
a remarkable ride and superb handling. Plus, the
innovative torque box acts like a stabilizer bar,
minimizing body roll.
New technologies have a way of undercutting traditional icons of performance,
comfort and efficiency. Digital imaging replacing film. Electronic sensors in
place of mechanical controls. In designing the Workhorse UFO™, we integrated
the latest and best technologies to ensure superior performance, no matter the
driving condition.
Everything’s cool, above and below.
It’s no secret that rear engines are harder to cool — be it
a gas engine or a new, ’07 emissions-compliant diesel
power plant. We created a unitized cooling system that
effectively cools the engine and transmission by routing
fluids through the same cooling dam. This also
minimizes power requirements and keeps the cool
pack below the floor level — an industry first.
Sure-stopping brakes.
The advanced Quadralic™ braking system has fourwheel disc brakes for shorter stopping distances and
a four-wheel anti-lock function for dependable braking
in harsh conditions such as wet or icy roads.
Universal Fuel Option:
Power for the road.
Workhorse UFO™ gas-powered models come with the
GM Vortec™ 8100 power plant, the biggest gas RV
engine made. It produces 340 hp and 455 lb.-ft.
torque. Workhorse UFO™ diesel-powered coaches
come with the option of the Cummins® ISB 6.7 L*
diesel engine, or the International MaxxForce 7
engine**. Both diesels are 2007 emissions compliant.
TORQUE BOX
Performance every mile of the way.
Mated to your choice of engine is the Allison 2000 Series, automatic 6-speed transmission.
Its 5th and 6th gear overdrives let you zoom down the highway at reduced
RPMs, resulting in a quieter ride and better fuel economy.
Plus, the Transmission Grade Braking helps slow the
coach when descending steep
grades for increased safety
and longer brake life.
Also, the premium
synthetic transmission
fluid extends the warranty to five years or 200,000 miles.
Smart, WISE™ circuits.
The Workhorse UFO™ has a complete, front-end-cap-to-rear-end-cap multiplexing
system designed specifically for a Class A motor home. The Workhorse Integrated Smart

55 degree wheel cut gives you amazing
maneuverability in tight spaces such as campground
trails, small parking lots and gas stations.
Pass-through storage. With no driveshaft to get in the
way, the entire width of the coach can be utilized for basement
storage. That’s more space for your supplies and grown-up toys.
100 gallon fuel tank. At 100 gallons, the Workhorse UFO’s™ tank will
take you a long way between fill-ups.
Huck bolts are used throughout the frame. They cannot come loose,
ensuring the most durable construction. Their use illustrates

Shielded hoses, pipes and wires. Hydraulic pipes and hoses as well
as wires are routed within the cavity of the chassis, protecting the
components from damage while enabling easy access for servicing.
