Rain Wind & Sun!! Zyg arrived for 9.30am followed by Rory @ 10am… not realising he could have slept in a little longer!! They got well into the garden. Stephen, Paul, Daniel, Rory & Bree were sorting out under the stage, whilst Jose got chain-sawing the trees & branches and Sherrill, Jack & Kim Fletcher got busy in the garden. The inside work (We weren't stupid!!): We had Gerry vacuuming, Malita, Henry, Peter, Gill, Maureen, Barbara, Linda & myself cleaning all what we could get into! We managed to fill two 6 cubic metre skips, and still the work was not finished, so it was decided to organise another skip for the following Saturday (5.5.07) to which we hope (!!) should be clear and cleaner in all areas of the Theatre! 19 helpers in all arrived by 2pm and got well underway, I was very impressed, you just can't believe the rubbish that collects over the years!! After the planting of the George Webb Rose, we all ventured inside for Chicken & Salad!! What a well deserved treat, and thanks to all!!. By 7pm the Theatre was left to breathe!!! A Big thankyou to all the helpers!!! The Wedding of Bree Hartley & Daniel Ramsell Sunday the 15th of April 2007 Well, what a day we had!! The weather was not quite what we had in mind and at the last moment we changed the venue for the ceremony from Araluen to the Theatre… and then the Community Church across the road. Thank you so much to everyone who ‘mucked in’ to help make our day special despite the weather. There was a feeling of true community that warmed our hearts. We had a lovely honeymoon in Penang, Malaysia, and were over joyed that it did not rain at all whilst we were there! Thank you again to everyone for their kind wishes and support.
