A special joint session will be held on Saturday with the Florida Society of Reproductive
Endocrinology and Infertility. This session is perfect for all Ob/Gyns who specialize in this area of

Pregnancy Loss.”
Debate Symposium
Saturday afternoon will conclude with a lively debate symposium on “The Truth Behind Bioidentical
Hormone Replacement.” Drs. Gloria Hakkarainen and Andrew Kaunitz will lead the discussion. This is
a session, not to be missed, on one of the hottest debated issues today in Ob/Gyn.

This program has been designed to meet the education needs of physicians
and nurses who have a specialized interest in the field of Obstetrics and
Gynecology.

Evaluate the reasons why delay in diagnosis of breast cancer is the
leading cause of medical malpractice lawsuits, and identify what
steps can be taken to lessen the physicians potential liability

Compare and contrast the differences between wrongful birth
and wrongful life lawsuits, and how religious and political beliefs
as well as philosophical and legal concepts influence the parents,
children, attorneys and judges

Evaluate the evidence surrounding use of compounded hormones
and salivary hormone testing

vaginal mesh procedures

Analyze indications and common usage of BHRT

programs in various sized hospitals

Diagnose the common patterns and outcomes of brachial plexsus
injury in infants

Assess different patient profiles and indications for cosmetic
vaginal surgery
