Walking Spur 2 - Meavy to Burrator Scale: 250m 500m Key BUS 6 1km On-road walking route Off-road walking route Toilets Telephone Bus stop Narrow road section Junction Watch out for traffic Podcast location Turn left into the car park and exit using the path to the right, between stones Turn right at the next junction At the end of the path, turn left onto the small road Follow this informal path across Yennadon Down Enjoy the view over Burrator Reservoir On a clear day you will see Plymouth Sound in the distance 12 This is also the scene of one of Drake’s finest hours 20 13 Look out for some steps on your right, and climb them to the old railway line Keep walking downhill until you have a telegraph wire on your right. Continue until this stops and then walk on past the trough Take a sharp left onto the cycle path Walk past Burrator Dam and continue straight ahead Turn left onto the former railway line Drake’s Leat Walk along the leat and at the end of the path take the left fork that emerges onto the road Walk along Drake’s Leat.
