NorvaNivel passionately designs
furniture and spaces for contemporary

OUR PRODUCTS
Taking into consideration pedagogy and theory, our products are focused on looking
at the space within the space and creating a learning environment that encompasses
a range of teaching and learning activities. Understanding that no two schools are
the same we have created a range of products that is both extensive and targeted to
facilitating the notions of campfire, cave, watering hole, mountain top and sandpit.
Our interpretation of this aims to encompass a product fit for every function.
Factoring in outcomes of communication,
collaboration, creativity and critical
thinking we have developed products that
are innovative, functional and flexible.
Our aim is not just to supply well-designed and
quality-assured pieces, but to create environments
and spaces that foster productivity and student
engagement at its highest order.
WATERING HOLE
The Watering Hole is an informal space where peers
can share information and discoveries, acting as both
learner and teacher simultaneously. This shared space
can serve as an incubator for ideas and can promote a
sense of shared culture.
Our products are

consideration of future

Our approach is learnerfocused, with the core
result being to facilitate
multiple pedagogies.
CAMPFIRE
The Campfire is a space where people gather to learn
from an expert. In the days of yore, wise elders passed
down insights through storytelling, and in doing so
replicated culture for the next generation. In today’s
schools, the experts are not only teachers and guest
speakers, but also students who are empowered to
share their learning with peers and other teachers.

CAVE
The Cave is a private space where an individual can
think, reflect and transform learning from external
knowledge to internal belief. Schools across Australia
have both posters and places to encourage this private
individual time.
MOUNTAIN TOP
The Mountain Top is a place to present your findings
and successes. To show your ideas to the group from
one person to many and to sing your successes from
the mountain top.
SANDPIT
The Sandpit is the place to play, prototype, experiment
and discover. The sandpit is a place to get messy
and inventive. The place to discover new ideas and
inventions. The Maker space as it is becoming known
where new ideas are tested and theories generated in
both and individual and group environment.
