Perennial Vacation Club
Lots of “sawdust” at all of our resorts, though mostly at Bandera. Although a very prominent Bandera Homestead sign indicates the turn off the main highway, we’ve added an “almost there.” A beautiful sign now answers the inevitable, “are we there yet?” as you drive the access road to our hilltop Y’all keep on comin’ resort. We are especially proud of our team effort: designed by our resident communications director and graphic designer since 1989, Gary Edwards, and built on site by our maintenance staff. And should you arrive after dark, it has solar powered lighting. The Bandera crew has also been busy with a complete remodel of Building “A,” a substantial project that included some minor changes Cowboy cozy to layout, new cabinets, countertops, carpet, mattresses and furniture. We are pleased to say it is complete and ready for our members and guests to enjoy. The Daytona kitchen and bathroom remodels have been completed and all the windows will be upgraded for enhancement and insulation. Additionally we have upgraded the WiFi system to increase coverage on the property and offer some of the best WiFi service in the Beach area. New sofas and TVs are on the way. Tahoe is getting a lot of new carpet and furniture. And still more is being planned! DIRECT EXCHANGE COUNSELOR Melanie Munoz & Laurie Mitchell The Direct Exchange Program is your in-house exchange service and is available to all members. Call or email your Direct Exchange Counselors, Melanie and Laurie, to discuss the options and let them assist you through the entire exchange process. Thomas Edwards As Communications Director, I recognize that every interaction with or about Perennial Vacation Club, whether it be through social media, email, or phone, is part of your vacation experience. Besides daily interaction with our members, I am continually monitoring hardware and software to secure the best possible communication. I genuinely appreciate all input and assure you all suggestions are thoughtfully considered. 775-782-9100 ext 6622 [email protected] NO Annual Maintenance Fee Increase... for the third year in a row! Annual maintenance fees are an important and necessary aspect of membership. Member accommodations are an integral part of the vacation experience and critical to maintaining a high exchange rating. We regularly replace carpet, mattresses, furniture and appliances. And just as important as the interiors are the look and functionality of exteriors. What is difficult to anticipate are the “out of left field” happenings that require us to dip into reserves and economize from elsewhere. A good example of this is a recent one-in-a-million lightening strike that took out the five Bandera Resort septic pumps, satellite WiFi and TV, office computer and printer. All have been replaced and updated. In Daytona, all our beachfront units were mandated to have “turtle glass“– one-way glass which ensures that newly hatched baby turtles head to sea, not to check-in at our resort. Then the city fathers sent us the latest requirement that all resorts must have much smaller signs that are significantly lower to the ground. The Tahoe snowplow has finally seen its last winter. The list goes on, but you get the picture. As a member owned and operated, not-for-profit vacation club, you can be assured that the board of directors and staff will always carefully and diligently balance the cost to our members of maintaining the highest quality vacation experience at the lowest annual maintenance fee possible. Bandera, Daytona, Lake Tahoe and ImperiaLakes ~ All Earn Silver Crown Designation! Our resorts honored for providing outstanding vacation experiences RCI, one of the leading vacation exchange companies, has announced awarding the prestigious RCI Silver Crown Resort property designation to the Perennial Vacation Club’s resorts located at Lake Tahoe, Nevada, Bandera, Texas, Daytona and ImperiaLakes, Florida.
