1 birth - 1 book
The objective of this program is to promote reading at a very early age. Each new member, age one or under,
is eligible to receive a baby-reader kit. This kit consists of a hardcover book, a copy of a magazine and a cd. It
will provide infants with an opportunity to handle books, give them an interest in looking at them and, eventually,
a taste for reading. To receive a kit, one of the infant’s parents should come to the library with proof of the infant’s
birth (ex: birth certificate, health insurance card) as well as proof of the parent’s residence.

Pickleball
Less taxing on the joints than other racquet sports, pickleball is easy
to learn and practice at any age, yet still allows players to be very
competitive, for those who want to be. This is a racquet sport that
combines some of the features of tennis, badminton, ping-pong
and racquetball. It is played on a hard indoor or outdoor surface
equivalent to a badminton court. The number of players is growing
at a mindboggling rate in North America.
