FAQ (en español e inglés)

ShapeLATAM 2016 es un evento diferente al WEFLatam2016. Ambos eventos serán en Medellín pero
ShapeLatam es un evento exclusivo para los Global Shapers. WEFLatam es un evento cerrado sólo para
invitados.
¿Cuándo?: Junio 13, 14 y 15. Sería ideal que los Shapers arrivaran en Junio 12 y se quedaran hasta Junio
16 (4 noches de hotel incluidas).
¿Dónde?: Medellín, Antioquia - Colombia.
Lenguaje oficial: Español. Inglés es un deber para los eventos de networking, además estaríamos
recibiendo muchos brasileros entonces el portugués también estará presente.
Electricidad y conectores: 110 voltios
En caso de necesitarlo, háznoslo saber para conseguirte un convertidor (Incluido en el fee de inscripción)
Moneda Oficial: Peso Colombiano (COP)

¿Necesito una Visa?: Para Colombia no necesitas de una visa para viajes menores a 90 días. (Podemos
evaluar casos particulares para Shapers fuera de latino-américa).
¿Fee y Qué incluye SHAPE?: Fee individual de $50 USD. El Hub de Medellín proveerá a los Shapers
asistentes a ShapeLatam16, lo siguiente: Alojamiento (Desde Junio 12 hasta Junio 16), alimentación,
transporte Aeropuerto-Medellín el día 12 de Junio y transporte Medellín-Aeropuerto el 16 de Junio (Para
cualquier fecha antes o después de las establecidas el transporte no será cubierto)

Alojamiento: Estamos motivando a los Shapers a compartir (Uno de los objetivos del evento es promover
la interacción entre Shapers en todos los espacios posibles), dicho esto, la acomodación que daremos será
doble, triple y cuádruple. Conseguir una habitación sencilla es posible pero el Hub de Medellín no cubrirá el
valor total de la acomodación sencilla. Es caso de querer una habitación sencilla o si viajas con compañía,
hazlo saber al Hub de Medellín con tiempo.
Hotel: T.B.A (Lo confirmaremos tan pronto hayamos escogido la mejor alternativa posible).
Tours adicionales (No incluido): Otros Hubs de Colombia están diseñando posibles tours a sus ciudades
de origen. Nos alegraría que conocieras más ciudades de nuestro hermoso país. Pregunta por ellos.
ShapeLATAM 2016 is a different event than WEFLatam2016. Both events are taking place in Medellín but
ShapeLatam is an event exclusively for Global Shapers. WEFLatam is a closed event only for invited guests.
When?: June 13th , 14th and 15th. It would be ideal for Shapers to arrive June 12th and stay until June 16th
(4 nights lodging included).
Where?: Medellín, Antioquia - Colombia.
Official Language: Spanish. We love and we embrace our beautiful language and we are welcoming
Shapers from all over latin-america where spanish is the official language; English is mandatory to network in
this kind of events and as many Brazilians would be coming to Medellin, portuguese would be spoken too.

SHAPE Latam 2016 Main Topic: Resilience, as an engine of innovation.
Do I need visa?: There is no need for VISA for travels under 90 days ( but we can evaluate specific cases of
shapers outside Latin America)
Fee & What does SHAPE include?: $50 USD individual fee. Medellin’s Global Shapers Hub will provide the
Shapers who will be at SHAPE Latam 2016, the following: Lodging (from June 12th to June 16th, 4 nights
included), feeding, power outlet converter, transportation from the airport upon your arrival, and
transportation to the airport on June 16th for departure (for any date after or before this one, the
transportation will not be included).
*Grants may apply. More information within few days.
Accommodation: We are encouraging Shapers to Share (one of the goals of the event is to promote the
interaction among shapers in every possible space), therefore, the accommodation we are providing is going
to be double, triple and quadruple. Individual rooms are able but we are not covering the total value for the
single room. In case you want a single room or you are visiting our city with companionship, please let us
know.
Hotel: T.B.A (We are confirm it as soon as we have chosen the best possible alternative).
Additional Tours (not included): There are hubs from other cities in Colombia that are designing possible
tours to their cities.
