Parent/Tot Swim Lessons
Private/Semi-Private Dive or Swimming Lessons
Private lessons are held during general open swim hours and
not during the regular swim lesson program. Semi-privates are
2 children per instructor. Instructor will split the lessons among
children or teach a blended lesson based on the skill level.
Lesson packages can be split among family members. Buy more
and save! Private lessons will be available for instruction from
June 13 – August 14.
Parents must give 24 hours’ notice when cancelling a private
lesson or they will be charged for a lesson. Time will be
deducted from the lesson if a participant arrives late.
Pool members must purchase private lesson passes at the Parks
and Recreation Office. They are not sold at the pool. Private
Lesson passes are good for the 2016 season only. A pool
membership is required for the lesson or the daily fee must be
paid.
Upon purchasing your private lesson passes, the Swim Lesson
Coordinator will contact you to set up your lessons. Please allow
up to one week for the Coordinator to find an instructor. The
instructor will then notify you to set up your first lesson.
Lesson books are non-refundable.

Swim Lessons - 4 Years and Up
Our Swim Lessons Program is designed with six levels of swimming ability, in swimming
techniques and water safety. Each level is designed to channeling the students with new
swimming skills. A certificate is issued upon successful completion of each skill level.
Swim Lessons are held Monday through Thursday in two-week sessions. All lessons are
held at the Hinsdale Community Pool. The student must be able to demonstrate each
skill to move to the next level. Each child is tested to determine the level they start at.
Makeup day due to inclement weather is Friday.
Register your child for the time slot only that you want. The levels will be assigned on
the first day of lessons. Indicate the last level that your child passed if you know it on the
registration form.
All classes close at 12 noon the Thursday before the next session starts.

Blue Moose Sports Camps
Remember the days when
you would wake up,
run over to your
friend’s house
and not come
home until
dinner? You
never sat
in front of
the TV and
always had
a game to
play whether
there was a
large group
or if it was just
a couple close
friends. Children don’t
have that opportunity
anymore; they have too many activities and distractions. In
the day of technology and organized/competitive sports,
children don’t get the chance to just play! Blue Moose Sports
Camp was created to give children a place to stay active and
play during the summer. It is important for children to be
active. These are the years that they should be developing
a love for fitness and their health. Our goal is to build a
stronger community through sport. Every child should
experience the enjoyment of being active and being a part
of a group - regardless of their ability level, or previous
experiences.
Campers will be split into age groups and play a variety of
games and activities. The games will differ each day but we
will always stress the importance of using the correct skills
and form. Come join us for a summer of fun! Meet new
friends, play new games and improve your skills.

Chicago White Sox
Baseball Summer Camps
The White Sox are coming
to your neighborhood!
For over 20 years the Chicago White
Sox have brought quality baseball
instruction to children throughout
Chicagoland! If you want to be the
best, you’ve got to train with the best!
Since 1994, more than 50,000 youth baseball players have
attended one of our White Sox summer camps to focus on
essential individual baseball skills. Professional coaches from
the White Sox organization have programs designed for kids
from 5 – 11 at every ability level.
Every summer camp participant receives an EXCLUSIVE
U.S. CELLULAR FIELD EXPERIENCE!! This opportunity of a
lifetime for each camp participant, along with one guest,
will include a parade on the field and a Q&A session with a
White Sox personality, coach and a current White Sox player.
During the camp, each player will participate in a special
Skills Competition. The Top 40 qualifiers in each age group
throughout the summer will compete in our Champions Day
finals on U.S Cellular Field in September. Each camper also
receives premium items including six (6) White Sox ticket
vouchers*, summer camp t-shirt, evaluation report and
graduation certificate. Note: Only 7-11 year old participants
will receive a special Academy ball cap.
For the Little Sluggers, our beginner program is open to
boys and girls ages 5 & 6 and is designed to introduce this
age group to the game of baseball. Our intermediate camp
for ages 7 & 8 includes fundamental skills work on throwing,
hitting, bunting, fielding, pitching and base-running.
Fundamentals will be reinforced by using fun skill games.
The White Sox Summer Camp for ages 9-12 builds upon the
basics and is just the ticket to advance your game to the next
level. Depending on the skill level of the players, this camp
will touch on advanced hitting and throwing techniques,
as well as team play, advanced base running and other
techniques that could be used on the field this season. On
the final day all players will get the opportunity to judge
their improvement by playing a game. Student to instructor
ratio will be 10:1 or less.
(*Restrictions apply to ticket vouchers. Experience dates are
to be determined, premium items subject to change)

Skyhawks will be using the SNAG Coaching System, a system for
training beginning golfers using the most fun golf equipment
around. Skyhawks will provide launchers and rollers designed
with larger heads and greater hitting surfaces that make it easier
to hit the ball while learning proper swing techniques. Emphasis
is on fun, participation and safety. This is a very fundamental
golf camp. Participants should bring a water bottle, running
shoes and sunscreen.
Beginning Golf
Skyhawks Golf focuses on building the confidence of young
athletes by teaching proper technique to refine essential skills
of the game. Golf is a challenging and lifelong sport, so young
athletes need proper focus on the fundamentals of form,
swinging, putting and body positioning. No need to bring your
own clubs--all equipment is provided. We keep the instructorto-camper ratio low, resulting in limited availability. Participants
should bring a water bottle, running shoes and sunscreen.
