Hidden Delights of Yeroskipou Village Complimentary Excursion - Meet at the Reception Desk
Not far away is the intriguing village of Yeroskipou, we shall visit The church of Agia Paraskevi, built in the form of
a basilica with five cupolas placed in the shape of a cross, it is one of the most impor tant churches in Cyprus. The
church of Agia Paraskevi was built in the 9th century A.D. , its uniqueness lies in the frescoes, which are of the oldest
in the whole of Cyprus. Then we shall see how traditional “Loukoumia” is made by Xenia in her families’ workshop
and here you will have chance to buy “Loukoumia” of which she has over twenty flavours, peanut brittle, sugared
almonds and Carob and “Mastiha” products found only in Cyprus.
Finally onto a traditional pottery where we shall try our hand at pottery throwing (you will be given what you make
as a present to take home) and have coffee. (Please pre book this excursion at the reception desk)
