The Plustek BioLOGICAL is a histology slide scanner.
Specially designed for the medical usages, it allows scanning
of an entire whole mounted histology sample attached to a
standard 75 x 25 mm cover slipped glass slide. Easy to operate and easy to set up, this scanner has just one function button. The user can digitalize the histology sample in second’s
time. The scanner comes loaded various image editing software out of which Silverfast image edition software is the most
important one. As an entry-level scanner, it is a tool between
microscope and digital camera and complements each other.
The new generation affordable histology scanner has capability to scan at the resolution of 7200 dpi and the scan area
can be 36 x 21,6 mm, resulting in useable images up to 10080
x 6480 pixels. Compatible with Windows & MAC based computers, the scanned images can be saved in various image
formats including TIFF, JPEG, BMP, GIF, etc.
